Infomatika Publications ripoff Called me to "verify address" then said was sending invoice. ripoff abused & mistreated ripoff business from hell Champlain New York
Received a call from company asking to verify our address. Immediately caught my attention because, I had just received the call on a different line for an old company that used to have our number. The first time she called and said is this (xyz) company and i said no because that was an old company. She kept repeating the questions and finally hung up. She called again on the next line and asked to verify the current company. (they must have been using automated dialer with ascending phone #s) I told her I did not know who they were but she insisted that someone in our office had ordered this listng service in 2001. I said well if this was ordered in 2001 why are you calling us now? She said "it was never paid for"
I said "I don't even know who you are"
She said "we're the white pages"
What white pages? - she finally said Infomatika Publications.
She then proceeded to say she was sending an invoice to our address. Despite me telling her repeatedly not to and that we did not order such a service.
I just did a quick check on internet and it is obvious they have been doing this quite a bit.
