I received a letter 12-2-08 in the mail with no return address but addressed to me stating that you have been selected as one of our sweepstakes winner, and this is your finally notice please call to receive you winning. The envolpe also contain a check from well fargo bank with my name on it for 4,950.00 a portion of your 450,000.00.
I call the number provided and she ask me for my claim number V9Y5G8 and said congratulation you are one of our winner are you excited.
The check is to pay your taxes in canada which is in the amount of 3,900.00, but must be paid before you receive your other winnings. The instruction was to deposit the money into my account and the next day send the tax amount money gram asap to a Kristen Ruffalo 4490 woodland ave. Calgary Aberta Canada. so the check can be fed ex the next day.
I deposit the check because it seems o'k from well fargo but the land o lake purina feed llc at the front of the check worried me, also I had the manager of the bank to keep a look out for any this funny. I did wait until the bank call me a few day later before I sent any money and guess what she said that the check was counterfit money no good. I call the company back and told Mary Johnson what the bank said she hung up the phone. Every since that act the bank people at the bank look at me like a criminal. It take them a long time to cash any of my checks. They ruin my rep at my bank.
