A coupon was attached to a display of about 100 bottles of Kendall Jackson wines that said if you buy 6, you mail in the coupon and they will send you $24.00. You had to send the ORIGINAL receipt and fill out their form on the coupon attached to the bottle. The coupon was impossible to write on so I photocopied it, enlarged it, filled it out and submitted it along with the original coupon, and the original cash register receipt. I mailed all that on 10/26/16. On 11/19, I received a postcard back saying that my "submission was not valid for fulfilment due to the reason(s) listed below: Reason 16--All required purchases not identified on Reg Recpt." That was aboslutely false. It gave a phone number to call 877-819-4280. I called it. Was put thru and it was robot answered putting me on hold. Finally after about 5 minutes on hold, voice said, "all agents busy...call back another time." I called back right away and said that if I did not get a call within the next 24 hours, I was calling the TX attorney general's office. Then I went online and found this scam blog. Figures. We'll see what happens. I bought the wine at a Safeway store. I will be telling them to remove these false coupons.
