Chris hill, who they say no longer works there, promised me they could settle my $12,000 tax debt for about $1500. Once I sent him my info he said he was changing it to $500.

I paid them $3000 to settle my tax problems.

Now, a year later, the IRS has denied what they did for me and Ann at Innovative tax says I can pay the full amount and if I want they will set up a payment plan for me.

Penalties and interest have accrued the whole time they have been retained by me.

So now I whole the whole amount plus penalties and interest and I am out three thousand dollars.

There was a problem with the IRS saying I didn't mail a crucial document to them. I did and have witnesses, but didn't mail it via certified mail. So Innovative Tax is not responsible for that error.

However, Innovative Tax sucks in my opinion! They are unfriendly on the phone, they hang up on me all the time, and they have not resolved my tax problem or reduced it even one penny! In fact, considering penalties and interest and the three thousand dollars I paid them, it is costing me well over 15 thousand dollars to settle a 12 thousand dollar debt, using Innovative Tax Relief.

I feel like the only thing I got relieved of was $3000.

I finally paid off the IRS. I paid the full amount plus interest and penalties. It cost me well over $15,000 to settle a $12k debt with the IRS using Innovative. Since my original posting I see many other people are seeing the true colors of this company. Yes, they don't return calls and yes they are rude and hang up on you...unless they want their money, then they call you frequently, even though you have a payment agreement with them. In response to Ann's rebuttal I say she sure has a different opinion of the matter. It is not true what she said about me not following instructions. I have a detailed file with receipts and dates on everything. I can prove I responded quickly to everything. My Mom mailed the document she is talking about. My Mom is dead now, but if she were here she would tell you she mailed it and my Brother drove her to the post office to do it. If you don't believe me then call me and I will prove it all. Innovative tax relief is one of my worst memories!

ITR SETTLED RICHARD'S TAX LIABILITY. HE FAILED TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS.

Ironically, Mr. Richard Levander's testimonial fails to mention that ITR settled his IRS tax liabilities. Indeed, it was Mr. Levander's own actions which caused delays in dealings with the IRS. ITR settled Mr. Levander's debts with the IRS and mailed Mr. Levander the IRS document recommending acceptance on his Offer in Compromise to sign. ITR specifically instructed Mr. Levander to return the signed document to the IRS via certified mail. Mr. Levander repeatedly failed to follow ITR's instructions and advice causing delay in proceedings with the IRS. ITR maintains a copy of the unsigned IRS letter at its offices located in Los Angeles, California. Therefore, ITR has fulfilled all services under the terms of its agreement with Mr. Levander. ITR cannot be liable for errors committed by clients acting against specific instruction.
