So you contacted AT&T and as you say they found it in their archive database so obviously there was a bill you didn't pay, right? If not....then you need to contact NCO /Innovision...trust me it doesn't just disappear...and if you want to clear it up you should pay it (if you were took they sold it, so obviously you missed a bill or something) or you need to get all the details from NCO...you are right....it is an old debt that needs your attention. God bless

Fraud At&t bill 11 years go. Read posting. I sent a certified letter, it is the only way to do it, telling them all the info about why I don't owe anyone. They responded they would not try to collect and returned it to Inovision. That is not good enough for me. I am sending a letter demanding a copy of the file along with the history. I will also send it off to my state attorny general along with the Ohio one. Identity theft and mail fraud is involved here. I think everyone should do this to get these rip-offs out of the picture!

I went to AT&T customer service but this was so old they sent me all over. Finaly after dealing with India I was able to get to some people here in the US. Nobody was sure where to send me , but most though it was strange that a debt over ten years old would of been on and now off my credit report. I never saw it there in the last ten years.I finally was transfered to AT&T Legacy where they archive records (800-222-0300) They searched by name and social security numbr and found I never had a collection action or unpaid debt. I never even had that phone number. Here are more AT&T numbers- Credit managment 866-295-6221. Fraud 800-286-7071. Final billing 866-223-2720
