Fort Lauderdale,#2Consumer Suggestion
Sun, July 23, 2006
Dave, First, forget Doreen Dennis and her cohort, Jon Delahay (they both claim they're from the office of the president of InPhonic ? as though that would authorize them to write you a check). I have not seen or heard of any tangible help they've given to anyone -- neither here nor any other site -- other than the usual runaround and stalling tactics. All they seem to do is monitor the internet for complaints against Inphonic and respond with their insincere offers to look into your claim or post "important information" about how they're changing their rebate processing centers and suggest that you keep holding your breath (hopefully, you'll be dead before they actually have to deal with you). What you need to do is file a complaint with the DC Attorney General. The AG is suing InPhonic regarding their rebate practices. The suit is on behalf of all consumers in the country, but you DO need to send them a complaint to be included. You can get more information from the AG's website http://occ.dc.gov/occ/cwp/view,A,11,Q,636576.asp or call Assistant Attorney General, Wendy Weinberg, for more information. Her direct phone number is (202)727-2870.
