Amazing...Each and everyday that I awake, I am reminded to beware of scamming.

My SS is electronically deposited onto an Insight Visa Card, which is tied into Urban Bank/Republic Bank.

During the process of checking my balance and recent transactions using an automated phone system, I learn Four different 'Convenience Checks' have been returned and a fee of $25.00 for each return was debited from my account.

I called immediately to learn why checks written to the IRS and the State of Michigan were not honored.

Who needs that kind of aggravation and/or that sort of potentially devastating situation? The representative I spoke with on July 17th, 2016 apologized and assured me a credit for $100.00 would be issued back to the card account but that I should call on Monday (July 18th, 2016) to learn as to why the situation occurred.

I phoned on Monday, July 28th, 2016 and spoke with another representative, 'Natalie' out of Birmingham, Alabama who informs me that had I carefully read the cover letter that accompanied the arrival of 'convenience checks' I would have known that an 'inconvenent' task of following some type of formal preauthorization process to properly utilize a 'convenience' check needed to be performed. Therefore, my punishment for being a loyal card holder will cost me $100.00 in addition to all the monthly fees I pay to do business with Insight Visa. Furthermore, a have a great big meal to contend with and can only hope that the IRS and the State of MI continue to accept my monthly payments per our arrangements.

The lesson. In doing business with Insight Visa, you can expect no mutual loyality, no customer service, you will be tricked at every turn for the money you thought you had for groceries this month.

Yes, I should not have assumed the 'cover letter' Insight says they sent was not of the usual or expected content. But thats hardly the point is it?

Poor people Beware...Countless 'Rip-offs' Complaints are at the top of the google search. Nice Reputation.
