Instant Cash Advance Adam White Scam Cash Advance St Petersburg, Florida
I applied online for a cash advance and within minutes my phone started ringing. Everyone had an Indian accent but had American names like Adam White. He used the name Cash Advance America to start with and sounded very professional and had an answer for every question I had. There was to be a $5000 loan with a 25 month repayment at $222 a month. Everything sounded good up until the end of the conversation when he started talking about my credit.
He said my credit wasn't good, which I monitor it regularly so I know it is, and that I would have to provide proof and verification that I could pay for the loan. He told me I would have to get a pre-paid card available at Walmart or the Dollar General store, and put 10% of the loan value on it. He said when I did that they could verify my income and the loan would be in my account within 2-6 hours.
I asked about how I get my money back off of the card and he said " You can use the card as you wish to shop or pay bills etc,,". The card part is the only thing that made me nervous. So I told him I could do it in a few hours. He gave me his name again and the phone number(727) 399-7455) to reach him. Once I ended the call I googled Cash Advance America scam and there were all kinds of similar stories of people being ripped off. These scam artists are Middle Eastern Indian with a very light accent and they have American names like Adam White and Max Johnson.
I am still receiving phone calls from him wanting me to contact him. He had my SSN and bank information from where I had applied online. I instantly went to my bank and had my bank account changed for my protection. BEWARE!!! These people are smooth and confident and have all the answers to the questions a person would ask. I was smart enough to do a little research and save myself. You should do your due diligence and find out the truth about people who try something like this with you!!!
