Instant Cast / Instantcast.com Phone scam Internet
I used to be a member of Instant cast, and I 'won' one of their contests. The winner was to receive $1,000.00. As the winner, I waited patiently for months for the reward, but received no email, letter or phone call. So I decided to email the person in charge, and no email. I emailed about 3 more times, and called about 5 times. No one ever called or emailed me back. I finally received an email from her about half a year after, and she wanted me to fill out tax forms 'before she could give me the money'. So I did, and she never got back to me. After that she never returned my emails or phone calls. So I made sure my tax man knew this. To this day, they still won't get back to me, and this was close to 2 years ago.
After all of this went on, I did everything I was told to do to cancel my subscription to this site, and they still tried to charge me. I had to eventually go to my bank and stop all further withdrawls from that company.
So if anyone uses that site, beware. And don't use the text votes, because it just costs you money, and the winner really doesn't win the prize. That part definately is a scam.

I love instantast.com!
I tried the trial period and was able to cancel, no problem. I signed up with my next paycheck and have been a member since (almost a year now). I haven't had any problems with them. I recently won a fantasy casting contest also but have not yet recieved my DVD. It has only been a few days however and I will update with the results to that.
