Timeshares are never a good purchase and timeshare owners need to be cautious about this. There are lots of timeshare scams. I recommend you to read a good article with good information about timeshare issues: http://www.timesharescam.com/blog/121-how-to-get-rid-of-a-timeshare/

Friends I am a Web Designer and I have investigated this Company for my Client who Purchased a Franchise from them. After Reading this Report I decided to Look Deeper into possible fraud by this company. I spoke to president of Company and he stated that Mini Vacations was the name of a Franchise that they sold to a client. The client then decided to close down because a financial reasons or possible fraud. The Phone Numbers belong to Mini Vacations franchise that went out of business. I contacted the main company with no problem . Franchises come and go usually creating fraud and not following through with the offers they claim. I am sorry that this has happen to you guys. You might never get your money back from that franchise. Companies Like that make you afraid to get involved with them and give businesses bad rap in the industry. May God Bless!!

Eddie, I also received a Take a Break from a company called Mini Vacations as a gift for attending a timeshare siminar and tried to register as you did. When I went to the registration site, I saw a company notice stating that Mini Vacations, the company I got my vacation from, no longer owned that website. I also realized that I was not able to register my vacation since it used to belong to Mini Vacations who is out of buiness and now is owned by another company that does not honor other companies products. I also question why you would mail a personal check to a company that is no longer in business? If you had called Mini Vacations phone numbers, they say they are no longer in service which should be a big red flag to anyone. Since I received my Take a Break for free, I was not out anything as companies go out of business all the time and I don't see how you came to the conclusion that they are managed by Integra or any other company? If you mailed your check to an address for Mini Vacations and it was cashed, then I suggest you look for your cancelled check and see who cashed it and call the bank immediately since Mini Vacations is out of business.
