Integrascan.com Integrascan, Inc What a RipOff! They couldn't find a criminal if they where in their backyard! Brocton, New York
I was looking for a company to do criminal background checks for my company, as I have rental properties. I signed up on their website and paid the fee and ran a report on someone "I KNEW" to have a criminal record. The applicant told me up front they had a record. The arrest and conviction happened over 18 months ago, so records should be updated, as the IntegraScan site states their records are updated frequently.
I corresponded with someone named Stan Correct and he tells me I have to prove the applicant has a record and its not his problem. Now their website states that if Im not satisfied or find no record on someone who has a record, they will refund my money. They refuse to refund my money. I cannot drive 500 miles to go to this particular courthouse to get a criminal record. Thats what I paid Integrascan to do ELECTRONICALLY!!!!!
They are the biggest RIPOFF! Do not use them at all!
I told him Id contact my CC Company. Look at what he wrote back:
Please read the terms you acknowledged, as we will pursue collections and prosecution for Theft of services a class 1 felony if you choose to attempt a charge back. When you ordered your search, prior to purchasing you were instructed to check a box, which you did. the box read "I have read and agree with the Terms and Conditions and the coverage policy." It also showed the agreement on the order form. The order can not go through unless you check the box. This is specifically why we have placed this agreement on our order form So you are informed "Up Front" that not all jurisdictions are covered..
Well, THIS jurisdiction WAS covered and was on their website stating so. This is a well known jurisdiction, so WHY doesnt their website have updated records?
What a little man, sitting behind his computer screen, in his underwear, threatening me of a Class 1 Felony? What a joke this company is. They have a P.O Box for an address and will not correspond by phone, only by email.
They are the biggest RIPOFF! Do not use them at all!

This company also goes under Skipmax and if you search on Facebook you will see his public wall and profile. You can see all his pictures and his friends. Continue to complain to the FTC, BBB and the NY Attorney General's Office. This company is also selling individual social security numbers. The funny thing is that Terry & his wife, Michelle do not have records listed with IntegraScan on their own website. They have removed their own records. Their website claims to update daily and they also have a blurb indicating that they protect privacy and all that nonsense but they don't and they won't. It is up to all of us to continue pursuing legal avenues. There is another post from a Newark New Jersey individual although that is really not the accurate city of that individual. They have posted very useful information. Good luck. It's best to do a background check with Lexis or something similiar not this has been Skipmax or IntegraScan that advertises on social network sites. What a loser.
