I was just contacted by these nice folks in Everett Wa, They are also victims of the scam! Same deal, IEL refuses to honor "contract". By the by they still haven't taken care of ours. The unwanted indoor water feature runs on. Mr. and Mrs A, Good Luck and go git 'em!

The crooks are trying to sneak back into Hawaii. My house here on the mainland made the News! Oh, yeah, it still leaks. http://starbulletin.com/2007/03/11/business/story03.html

IEL sent a local company with a good reputation to look at the job. While the local company declined to take on IEL's nightmare, they agreed that the roof was improperly installed and that the damage done by it is obvious. The estimator agrees with the inspectors. There is mold and rot due to IEL and their crappy product. My home is non-saleable due to IEL and their inferior product. IEL (Interlock, superroof, Fin-all etc. etc.et al) then told me they "found yet another contractor". It was an employee in an Interlock Truck. He was argumentative and finally disclosed that he "was sent only to fix leak not rot or mold". They no longer lie about thier affilliation to me, but I'm sure others haven't figured out the paper trail yet. It is there. IEL still apparently doesn't know enough about construction to tell the difference between a contractor and his employees.

Now they want to say:
(1) they are not affiliated ( I can prove otherwise)
(2) They are not responsible for "installation".
Guess what? installation was part of the contract. Furthermore, the installers were hired by, directed by and paid by International Exteriors Ltd.; which makes them I.E.L.'s subcontractor and responsibility.
Look what this scrap metal is doing to our home!
