Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I attended International Academy of Design & Technology from 2007-2011 and have yet to find a job in the Game Design field.  They promised us job placement, which was basically a good luck out there handshake.  I moved to Texas to find a career with my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Game Production and they all told me the same thing.  The degree wasn't credible to get a job in that field and that they required AT LEAST 3-5 games published, 3-5 years real-world experience, which did not include attenting school at IADT.  Now, the friends I have made at that school are in debt just like me, with almost $80,000.  This school made false promises and did nothing for anybody, except put us all in a debt we can't afford to pay back.

I too attended International Academy of Design & Technology Detroit from 2007-2010. The school is a fraud it has settles a law suite with Academy of Art University for stealing using their college logo from 2003-2009. I could not find a job in the Game Design field they promise job placement, they never follow through, and all they were concern about is the money I paid from getting student loans from the government I got to pay back with interest. I get a letter in the mail dated Octocber 28 2013 from Iadt International Academy of Design & Technology Detroit the leller reads " Dear International Academy of Design & Technology Detroit takes its commitments to you very seriously. Effective today, the International Academy of Design & Technology Detroit will no longer enroll new students in its programs and will begin a gradual process of discontinuing operations what's called a teach-out. Our team made this difficult decision by taking a number of factors into account, including local economic and work force conditios and enrollment levels at the campus. The anticipated date for  the school closing is march 2017."  After they ripped off all in debt to pay back loans we had taking out from the government Iadt Detroit is closing the school we should not have to pay the loans with interest back to the government they should go after Iadt Detroit because they are frauds liars a fake school thathass no college creditability they made millions off the backs of us that is not fair.

2 years ago, 200+ students signed a petition that went ignored. This petition will show that we all tried to collaborate and hoped that our voices were heard, but it fell on deaf ears.
