International Lotto Commission received an actual check along with letter Oshawa Ontario Canada
Recieved a letter in standard envelope, and when opening a check for 4,700 dollars fell out. Read the letter saying i had won 420,000.00 dollars. and the 4,700 was an advance to help me pay the taxes and fees required to receive the remaining in a lump sum. I took the 4,700. check to bank and deposited it, to see if it was legitimate.
now what should i do? i talked to a lady on the phone but basically she said the same thing the letter did. the money was registered in my name, they couldnt touch it but could only send the amount after they received their money thru a wal-mart money gram. they never asked for my bank account? as of yet they havent.
I guess im wondering if this is a rip off. its surely too good to be true. but the person told me if i've shopped at a lowes/target/homedepot/or wal mart and bought certain prods, i was entered. the check was paid thru Kimberly-Clark payroll, and thru citibank in delaware. anyone have any suggestions.
