International Who's Who in Poetry Judy Lynn Tried to get money out of me by saying I was selected for Poetry award. Los Angeles, California
I got an e-mail saying I was one of a few people selected over the last 12 months that the "Internation Who's Who of Poetry" wished to recongized for my poetry. If I sent in another poem that was 26 lines or less, I could possibly win a share of a $10,000 cash and prize package. I would also get my poem published in their up-coming book.
If I wanted an introduction to who I was, I would have to send in some money (of course, as they said, since it would add pages and work to the book). Also, if I wanted a momento such as a pin or a copy of the book, I would have to pay. However, I would get a "special discount price".

I agree with others comments, this publisher is not a scam, no one ever force anyone to buy a book and it's wrote this black and white in a letter. If you did bought it, that was, only, because you want it, and you should have it anyhow. Therefore this publisher proof to you that they exist and they're not a scam and book "International Who's Who in Poerty" exist too and you can find it them in a shelfs of Barnes and Nobles. I didn't have any problem with communication through email with a publisher, and you have to send anything to a contest if you don't want.

this is not at scam i am a poet featured in this book and 2 other books by the same company. they tell you in plain black and white you dont have buy or pay any money for it that option is up to you if you want to own the book. when you buy the book you get everything you pay for.
if this was a scam. for 1 you wouldnt get what you paid for. for 2 you wouldnt be able to find the book anywhere ever because it simply woundt exist. but you can find and buy this book along many others on many different web sites and stores. this is not a scam my poems are out there for the world to see and i'm sure of that because i've checked.
