Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

These people represent themselves as a professional vehicle recovery company when, in fact, they are a nasty couple operating their "business" out of their home in the country.  They use a make shift rig mounted in the back of a pickup truck and do not possess the equipment or the ability to properly hook up to a vehicle and tow it without damaging the body and/or transmission.

These hillbillies were seen dragging a front wheel drive vehicle from the rear without using dollies, or any other means, to prevent damaging the transmission and front end components. When they recover a vehicle, they do not inventory the personal property inside.

They try to demand a $50 fee for inventorying personal belongings, while refusing to produce an inventory.  They attempt to refuse to release a vehicle for days, even after receiving a release from a finance company.

They try to refuse to allow a vehicle owner to inspect their vehicle until after the owner signs a release of liability form.  They refuse to return phone calls and rarely answer the phone.  When they do, they (namely Tara) refuses to disclose the location of their premisses, even after they have received a legal release from the lean holder.

Expect to involve Sheriff Deputies to have your vehicle released, even when you have all necessary documents.  These belligerent hustlers should be avoided at all costs. These fly-by-night scam artists are located at (((REDACTED))), Selma, NC (((REDACTED))), (919) 965-6661.

The mentioned search and recovery company was very helpful and respectful when I had to use their services.  They asked me if I needed anything from my vehicle (there was no inventory fee), gave me time to get anything I needed, gave me a receipt with their contact information and told me to call at any time.

My calls were always returned or I was told what time would be better to reach someone.

I had no problem retrieving my vehicle.  The company even offered to have it towed back to me.  I opted to pick it up myself.  The workers jumped the battery of my car and helped us get it onto a dolley.  In moving the car we found that one of my tires had gone flat.  The worker lead us to a station to put more air in it.  When we found that we could use the tire, the worker lead us back to their lot, helped remove the tire and took the tire to replace it.  We came back at a later date and got our car with no problems!

This company does their job.  I felt that they worked with us and went beyond their scope of duty to customers.  I was very satisfied with the service recieved from Interstate Search and Recovery.

we have assisted lenders track down and repossess collateral since 1993. we have sucessfully recovered over 10,000 cases. From time to time we certainly have irrate customers come to our location to retrive their personal belongings that were in their vehicle or in some cases the lender will arrange for the debtor to redeem their repossessed property if they pay current and/or meet other conditions such as providing proof of insurance or properly registering the vehicle.

I recall this particular incident and basically this woman was just mad because her vehicle was repossessed and wanted to cause as much trouble as possible. her accussations are unfounded and since this orginal date her vehicle was once again repossessed.

Our lenders and insurance company makes on site inspections every year to make sure we are in complience with current laws and professional standards in the industry. The success of our business in the volitale repossession industry is due to being involved in professional organizations and treating people fairly and with dignity.
