My name is Lu and I am embarrassed to admit that I did buy a
horse racing software program and to no surprise - got ripped off
I PAID $19 780 for the software, that has never worked.
I LOST $23 050 in my first 18 months.
If you have also bought Intervest Global or Intervest Live Horse Racing Software, please contact me.
I
was seriously mislead when I was sold the software, the company
Intervest Global was not upfront in providing information about the
privacy aspects of the program. I also did not receive any
documentation, license or contract agreements.
Simply an invoice and a how to load instruction sheet.
I have been scammed, and now simply wish to share my story with others so as they too, don't get ripped off.

While we acknowledge that there is a place for websites such as "the rip off report", people submitting to this website are free to place any slanderous comments against anyone,at anytime,without the burden of proof being place on them. Hence this will be the last time we respond to anything placed here. Some of the salient facts regarding Kevin's report are: Our data base does not contain a Kevin from Adelaide or indeed from anywhere in South Australia. We believe this person to be working for one of the scam companies he seems to know so much about. His knowledge of Intervest however is extremley poor, if he were a genuine customer he would know the following; 1.Cheetah Software did not fold, in 2003 it was sold to Intervest Global and until recently the new company continued to trade from the same address. 2.Cheetah Software customers were offered free upgrades to the new Intervest Software. 3.Cheetah's address was never "The Gateway" 3.The people involved in the ownership of Cheetah are still with Intervest and together with myself are always available at our trade show stands, or in our offices. Any of our 700 clients are welcome to visit us in our offices and many of them do just that. 4.Matthew Whyatt has never worked for any of the other companies mentioned, he did after all start Cheetah Software in 1999 at the age of 22, that's hardly given him time to have the career Kevin attributes to him. 5.We ask all our prospective clients to see the software working in the home of a client who already owns it. We have more than 30 such people spread across the whole of Australia and New Zealand.In addition we have many more clients who are quite willing to take telephone calls from prospective buyers of our software. 7.Intervest Sotware has been positively featured in reputable publications such as the Australian Franchise magazine, Wealth Creator magazine, numerous newpsaper Franchise sections and is advertised in the Australian Immigration handbook's business section. 6. Anyone still concerned after reading Kevin's ridiculous and scurrilous comments should visit our extensive website at www.intervestlive.com where they will find our address and full contact details, as well as our daily results since March 2003, results which should be attained by anyone who owns the Intervest software. d**k Aronson CEO Intervest Global Group

Nice response!!!! Sounds like butter wouldnt melt in your mouth...strange how conmen have that talent..peter foster comes to mind!! You gold Coasters are all the same!!!Quality Control Manager...haha...by your own admission you have clients in need..you may respond but its never to return the money you have scammed out of them...Happy Clients....hogwash...another nice scam....pay people to walk up and say how well they are doing...you really do think of everything.....What happened to the thousands of Cheetah clients left high and dry when you folded the company to start again..beat the authorities by changing names and directors....like i said ..you really do think of everything..... wonder what youll be called in six months from now...i only hope i can stop people falling for all the perceived "we are not like all the other racing scams" lines that your people use... you should have your staff saying "when we rip you off we are nice about it!!!" INTERVEST SOFTWARE DOES NOT WORK....BETTING ON HORSES IS GAMBLING!!!!!...DONT FALL FOR THE BS LIKE I DID!!!!

Dear Kevin, I thought I would respond personally to your report. I would like to set the record straight. I was the director of Cheetah Software and I am now the General Manager of Intervest Global Live. As for the other companies you mention, I have never been involved with these or any others and a simple ASIC search will show this to be true. I will not continue with revealing the constant irregularities with your story. I will simply state that if you are a genuine user of our software you would have been contacted by our Quality Control Manager over the past two months and we would have found out that you are not happy and be well on the way to fixing your problem. If you have been missed in this process then feel free to call me at the office or send me an email so we can help. We have always had an open door policy and clients are our top priority. I have never failed to respond to a client in need. If you had come to the recent Adelaide Business Expo I would have happily spoken with you and introduced you to other clients that came along to say hi and thanks for the fantastic program.
