Investors Audit Group Compliance Audit Group Asking for money up front, good seller, research shows scam at other companies same address. Beverly Hills, California
Receiving calls from Beverly Hills number, had to answer. Talking about HARP 2.0, and other Gov qualification programs. Did not qualify for that, but they could do audit for $2500, and get me modified.
Already lost on New Hope Financial 2 yrs back.
Anyway, they promised to have audit done for $900, then payment plan for rest of $2500 total.
They said would call bank to find who owns our note, then would refinance with investor (owner of note) at 2%. Process would take 6-8 months.
Person was very knowledgable and actually hepful information wise. After researching this Online, noticed all these stories were so familiar sounding. Also, Compliance Audit Group had same address and similar name. Sherlock Holmes here. So I think there are no complaints filed against them yet since the name was just changed possibly recently.
They have not screwed me over, or I have not paid them a cent. Just want to keep people aware that this might be the new tactic by old company with new name with same scam.
If banks would work with people we would not have to work with these crooks. Banks are taking loan mod apps for goverment rewards at $1500 a pop. The banks then decline and keep the money, and then the insurance money on the home default, then sell it for 1/2 price on the auction steps. That is all icing on the cake and give them back more money than you borrowed, and faster return on their investment. Why would they want to keep you paying? They make more if they can foreclose.
