IPA ripped off an Idaho Small Business Buffalo Grove Illinois

On February 21, 2003 I was contacted by a consultant from IPA. After reviewing our company records, Terri McCulloch, stated that IPA would provide the tools necessary to help us obtain financing necessary to consolidate our debts and improve our cash flow. We paid Terri $300.00 for her initial consultation. Terri stated that IPA had a great track record and would not even offer future services unless they could guarantee to provide me with a three to one return.

Upon completion of her visit, Terri told us that there was no doubt in her mind that IPA could help us. Field consultants would come and that it would take more than one day, possibly two days to complete the goals. Terri told us after reviewing our books and our checkbook balances not to worry about how to pay the fees. That was their job. They would help us get the money through refinancing our debt and improving our cash flow.

IPA did not provide the tools they committed to give us, nor the help needed in obtaining financing. They came confident that this would be no problem. We stressed to them our prior disappointments and attempts many times and they expressed no doubts in the success of the work they were undertaking. Even upon departure, their confidence remained. They left us with our presentation packets incomplete. We finished them ourselves, and submitted them to six local lenders, only to be rejected by all. They promised lists of angel lenders and never followed up with actual lists.

Their visit was very high pressure. They knew from looking at our books the condition of our finances, yet they worked and worked doing menial busy work to collect a fee. This fee, they pressured me to give them in the form of post dated checks that they knew I wouldn't be able to cover. After several calls asking them to continue to hold the checks, we still had checks presented to our bank for payment. IPA knew our cash flow and bank balance information. Where did they think the money was going to come from?

In many conversations up to five or six months ago, I expressed to IPA's representatives, the problems we were still facing and our dissatisfaction with the service provided by IPA. They told me that they would make it right. They have had no other contact with me other than to make repetitive, annoying and high pressure collection calls. We have already paid IPA $3866.66 which more than pays for the expenses related to their follies here.

IPA did not give us what they were so confident to promise. I will not pay for services promised and not given. IPA offers a one year money back satisfaction guarantee. I am requesting the return of the $3866.66 already paid to IPA. Their efforts did not leave us with anything we did not already have. They did not better or aid our situation in any way.
