I would like to offer a solution to the previous author as well as my point of view. First I would like to say that I have no connection with Irongate other than being a long time tenant. After being referred to this website for another matter, I was astonished at what my neighbor had wrote about my apartments. I know that this woman was my neighbor due to the fact that she left her name and that I have seen these occurrences with the grounds keepers. I live in an up stairs apartment across from this woman and I have had a great view of what happens on her patio. You see, every Friday, when the grounds keepers come to keep up on the grounds, this woman is there waiting for them, in her bathing suit. And I don't mean your grandmothers bathing suit, I'm talking tinny weenie THONG BIKINNI! And she stands on the patio wall and acts like she's doing house work or yard work, flaunting around, bending over showing her rear to the workers. She honestly just struts back and forth. I just thought she was trying to get their attention. This isn't the first time this has happened. I've personally called the office to report her sun bathing NUDE! The office staff told me that they would call her about the problem but she has never stopped. Maybe she was right about the office not taking care of resident issues??? But I doubt it because every time I needed maintenance the maintenance man came over right away. In this woman's writings she stated that The management isn't really concerned with the living standards of the renters here. I'd like to take a moment to credit Irongate for having the most beautiful grounds of any apartments I've ever lived at! On top of that they call me when I get a package in the office. They also have not raised my rent a penny since they opened. As far as I'm concerned , Irongate is very concerned with the renters living standards. Don't be fooled by this lady who thinks its o.k. to hang around naked on her patio and then accuse people of what she was most likely trying to get them to do in the first place. Irongate is a wonderful place to live. Don't believe her story.

Early in June 2004 I was awakened at 7 am by loud banging, yelling and honkin, etc. I rushed to my window and saw 7 or 8 men loitering outside my unit. When I called the rental office I was told that they are doing work on the landsacape. Because I am a writer and I work at home I observed the "work" all day. There was really more hanging out, smoking cigarettes, and staring into my windows involved than working, and so I called the rental office again and again to complain about the noise. Since they negleccted to take any action, and because the staring and leering everytime I went on my patio continued, I called the police several times, and I filed on-line herassment reports. This has been going on for 2 months!! Whenever I tried to tell these men to step away from the windows I was told: "No speak English". Irongate also rented an apartment upstairs from me to a family of 7, although it is illegal to do so in a one-bedroom, 700-square-foot apartment. I also had to call the Police about them, because they were incredibly noisy 24 hours a day. The management isn't really concerned with the living standards of the renters here, so I told them I would end my lease early on the grounds that they don't provide liveable space, but the end of this has yet to be seen. In general, the staff and crew here are beyond rude, noisy, disrespectful and un-helpful to renters and you'd be better off living in your car than here!
