Iyron Davis Scammed Life Lessons Magazine

I'm Chauncey Wyatt, Owner and Senior Editor of Life Lessons Magazine.

I started a wonderful magazine in 2016 that featured the lives and amazing stories of people from all walks of life, from the cook to the billionaire yacht club owner. After a very successful year, we turned to Iyron Davis to help us, considering his "so-called" expertise in the magazine industry, having developed and marketed a magazine previously. At first, things worked ok, until we gave him our domain, Life Lessons Magazine.com, of which is now some shoe website.

After I paid Iyron more than what he asked (and I have emails, text and receipts, and a lawyer) he never did the work to improve our website, after we give him domain permissions. He kept creating more and more excuses why he never did the work and to make things very bad, he never gave us back our domain and since then, no one has been able to contact him. We have lawyers now and looking to get restitution. You can view the destruction at our previously own domain he high-jacked at lifelessonsmagazine.com.

While he didn't totally ruin my business, he did cause over a year and 1/2 setback as we did not have a website. We are now located at lifelessonsmag.com. Unfotunately we spent a lot of money pushing traffic to our domain for him to totally ruin our brand by letting our domain go to waste. It was soooo amazingly hurtful to all those that worked hard under that domain.

As the Senior Editor, I am embaraased that I have made such a decisions to do business with him as I have also connected with others who have similar complains of fraud. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH OR HIRE IYRON DAVIS. There are a number of complains everywhere. He was a friend previously that I never could imagine doing such things but I trusted him and I advise YOU to NOT do the same. He claims to be the CEO of Blue Print Magazine which has not printed a single issue as well as being the CEO of Opulence Media Group of which after investigation may not be a legal company.

Be Careful friends. Be Careful! Life Lessons Magazine will be relaunching under our new website and address fall 2018 or after our lawsuit settles.

As of 6/13/18, Iyron Davis has contacted myself and my partner via Social Media Email within the past (of which I have proof). We have responded demanding he give our domain back to us, of which he still has not done after making contact with us again. I gave him my phone number and personal email again of which, he has not responded.

Mr. Wyatt, there is a difference between the following words:

1. scam - a confidence game or other fraudulent scheme, especially for making a quick profit.

2. fraud - wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain.

3. unprofessional - a person who is not a professional.

It simple sounds like you had an issue with the timeliness of Mr. Davis' services, which is understandable; but does not mean Mr. Davis scammed you, your brand or conducted any fraudulent business behavior which you originally stated in this article.

Your complaint also has nothing to do with Mr. Davis' companies, character, reputation or the funds you gave him for the work that he was going to do "Pro bono." This is solely about you having "sour grapes" about your expectations for the project and Mr.Davis' delivery of service.

Mr. Davis apologized for the delay of services, explained in details about his tardiness and offered to complete the project and give your money back. Since you stated you have copies of the text messages, please read that part again. Mr. Wyatt, your decision to not respond to Mr. Davis is the reason why you never received your domain back to WIX.com. There was no scam, fraud or "high jacking" of your website - which you originally stated.

Mr. Davis was and still is willing to give the domain (http://lifelessonsmagazine.com) back to you right now, no issues, no charge - that is why he kept it after you never responded - because he knew you would solely blame him for the mishandling of the project instead of putting any onus on yourself. Why would anyone take a domain that has no monetary value to them or "high jack" it from the owner and not ask for anything for it's return, and pay over $100.00 USD to keep it out of redemption?

Communication is a two-way street Mr. Wyatt, if you really cared about getting your domain back you would have responded to Mr. Davis or contacted him after the intial conversation and gave him the information he requested. Since you did neither, you have to understand that you're also at fault for why this has gone on for so long without a positive resolution.

The slander and warped opinions you wrote about Mr. Davis (https://bit.ly/2JxbJoJ) and his companies in your previous messages, clearly displays that your issue is only personal and has nothing to do with business. Businessmen handle business in person, over the phone and in court; not via text messages or on dirty websites like this.

Again, we believe this claim is Mr. Wyatt's bitter effort to defamate Mr. Davis' reputation and we will be following up with a small claims slander/defamation lawsuit in the state of Indiana under the "Anti-Bullying Act" (https://bit.ly/2xWzkdU) if this article (https://bit.ly/2JxbJoJ, which includes Mr. Davis' personal address) is not removed by 08/01/2018. Mr. Davis also sent recent screenshots of him reaching out to you and Mr. Skipp Young via Facebook messenger and neither of you responded to him, again. Screenshots are attached below.

Hello, I'm Scott Verel, Business Relations Expert for Iyron Davis/UrbanLink MMG, Inc. responding to this malice and inflammatory accusation.

In 2016, Mr. Chauncey Wyatt (Owner/Managing Executive of Life Lessons Magazine) reached out to Mr. Iyron Davis to ask for full-page print advertisements for the first issue of his print media publication (Life Lessons Magazine). Mr. Davis used his current and previous business connections at no-cost to Mr. Wyatt and sent him over 15 full page color advertisements from top brands and corporations such as Chevrolet, BMW of South Atlanta, Cola Cola, Sub-Zero and more.

A few months later Mr. Wyatt contacts Mr. Davis again requesting more full-page advertisements and he fulfilled the request again, does not charge Mr. Wyatt or his company -- nor ask for any barter service agreements. Mr. Davis' purpose in supply assets to Mr. Wyatt was to help a business associate and friend get a company off the ground.

In 2017, Mr. Wyatt asked Mr. Davis to help him bring more online viewers to his domain/website (http://lifelessonmagazine.com) and social media profiles. Mr. Davis said he would gladly help at no-cost, but Mr. Wyatt sent him $200 USD via PayPal out of his own merit. There was no invoice, no business deal, no talk of production time tables or delivery of service.

Mr. Davis let him know to create a "news/blog website" he would have to transfer Mr. Wyatt's current web domain (http://lifelessonmagazine.com) from WIX.com to GoDaddy.com, so he could build a Wordpress based blog website. The transfer process takes up to 1-2 weeks, which is stated on their website. https://support.wix.com/en/article/transferring-your-wix-domain-away-from-wix-2477749

After Mr. Wyatt sent of the information from WIX.com to transfer the domain over to GoDaddy.com, Mr. Davis started working on the website. Due to family issues and outstanding personal/business projects, Mr. Davis had to delay work on Mr. Wyatt's website creation; but still informed Mr. Wyatt throughout the process that he was going to need more time to fully complete the website.

Three months later, Mr. Wyatt sends Mr. Davis a barrage of text messages stating that he was upset with the untimeliness of the project, would like the domain (http://lifelessonmagazine.com) moved back to WIX.com and that he did not want Mr. Davis to complete the website that was planned.  Mr. Davis agreed and asked for Mr. Wyatt's WIX.com account information to transfer the domain back. Mr. Wyatt never responded back through email, phone or text messages.

A few weeks later, an employee of Mr. Wyatt's, Mr. Skipp Young contacted Mr. Davis via Facebook Messenger and asked to get the domain (http://lifelessonmagazine.com) moved back to WIX.com. Mr. Davis told Mr. Young what the status of the issue and would gladly transfer the domain back, he just needed the WIX.com account information from Mr. Wyatt.

Mr. Young never responded to the request. Since then Mr. Davis has paid a monthly fee of $7.99 USD to keep the domain up and running so it would not be reclaimed by GoDaddy.com, for whenever someone from the 'Life Lessons' brand would contact him. To date, Mr. Davis has spent a total of $97.89 USD (receipt/MS Excel sheet attached below) to keep the site up and has never had a personal, business or monetary reason to keep the domain.

Mr. Wyatt has since started a new website (http://lifelessonsmag.com) which still showcases business documents created by Mr. Davis and images of Mr. Davis' company intellectual property and logos. If Mr. Wyatt was upset at Mr. Davis and felt the the way he describes in this claim, why would he create a new website showcasing Mr. Davis' companies, documentation, images and business connections?

We believe this claim is Mr. Wyatt's bitter effort to defamate Mr. Davis' reputation and we will be following up with a small claims slander/defamation lawsuit in the state of Indiana if this article (https://bit.ly/2JxbJoJ, which includes Mr. Davis' personal address) is not removed by 08/01/2018. Iyron Davis Fraud Business Rebuttal

Response from Chauncey Wyatt, Owner of Life Lessons Magazine

This will be my last response to what I consider lunacy. As unprofessional as this is, I'm only responding because I feel I owe this to the thousands of people who support our growing brand. We have been out of business of over a year because of it and I am sorry to everyone for this trouble.

It is not my intent to tarnish anyones brand or reputation but because of all the damage at this point, I feel an obgligation to stand up for all the hard work of many who have worked and are currently working for Life Lessons Magazine. Further, it is my purpose to legal complete the end of this costly cycle of fraud. Again, I apologize to everyone who supports Life Lessons Magazine and I only do this to defend your support for me and the brand that is like and love by many.

< My Rebuttal>

WHO IS SCOTT VEREL?

I have never met or seen this person and I believe this name to be a total fabrication as if you read other RIP OFF REPORTS (and there are a few under the name Iyron Davis) you'll find that others could not verify a single person who works, have worked or is working for Iyron Davis, particularly "Scott". For this person to file a rebuttal and not Iyron Davis, using the time it took to write it, Iyron Davis OR so-called "Scott" could have easily switched name servers and gave us our domain back. Why didn't Iyron respond considering as "Scott" says, there was no contract or invoice, which there was.

(I will now respond point for point below)

"SCOTT" WROTE

"In 2017, Mr. There was no invoice, no business deal, no talk of production time tables or delivery of service."

I have PROOF, meaning, I have an invoice PAID by myself to Iyron Davis for the build of our website under the price given to us by Iyron Davis. "Scott" claims there are no invoices or business dealings of which is a lie and I have proof which can and will be shown in a legal proceeding coming soon. I have PROOF of countless texts GIVING Iyron Davis the information to have the name servers switched of which, you can easily see he did not respond or do as we have requested. Scott mentioned we did not notify or communicate with Iyron Davis. As for a timeline... does it take a year to transfer back our domain? No. Try a couple days. Visit our domain at lifelessonsmagazine.com and you can clearly see the domain is STILL being held by Iyron Davis under a Shoe Template website. As simple as it would be to just give it back, he has not and this is the reason we have filed a legal proceeding.

"SCOTT" WROTE

Three months later, Mr. Wyatt sends Mr. Davis a barrage of text messages stating that he was upset with the untimeliness of the project, would like the domain (http://lifelessonmagazine.com) moved back to WIX.com and that he did not want Mr. Davis to complete the website that was planned.  Mr. Davis agreed and asked for Mr. Wyatt's WIX.com account information to transfer the domain back. Mr. Wyatt never responded back through email, phone or text messages.

I have called and certainly sent countless text (that I have proof of) from myself and my other partner in the magazine demanding our name servers be switched and its over a year and as you can see if you visit lifelessonsmagazine.com there is a "shoe" template" in place of our website. In these text, you can read and clearly see there was no response from Iyron and as stated, you can clearly see if STILL has not given our domain back after, costing us greatly which is why I called it "High-Jacking". Again, I have proof of sending Iyron our login and password to have this done and clearly he has ignored and jeopardized our business and brand.

"SCOTT" WROTE

A weeks later, an employee of Mr. Wyatt.

I have text showing the login and password for Iyron Davis to have this done and to this day, it has not been and you can clearly see in the text, and clearly from no response from the very visible Show Template website Iyron Davis has tarished our Brand using.

Why would Iyron Davis continue to "Pay" for a domain that he does not own and was told to give back repeatedly? It seems to me, if it's costing you to maintain, why wouldn't you A. do the work, of which he never did and B. simply switch back the name servers, which he never did. Because of this, Life Lessons Magazine could not do business for over a year do to the "shoe template" that was placed on our domain by Iyron Davis. It is highly unprofessional and it has cost us greatly... and to this very day, he still has not called, texted, emailed or attempted to clear this matter. He he has, he can prove it in court or simply, give our domain back.

"SCOTT" WROTE

The website that is currently on lifelessonsmag.com is the old/original website without any changes  that was given to Iyron Davis to change and it does show prior relationships with Iyron Davis, of which no of it has any thing to do with why Iyron has held our domain name for over a year, leaving a shoe template in its place. Once the new site is coompleted, all old information and dealings will be removed.

"SCOTT" WROTE

We believe this claim is Mr. Wyatt's bitter effort to defamate Mr. Davis' reputation and we will be following up with a small claims slander/defamation lawsuit in the state of Indiana if this article (https://bit.ly/2JxbJoJ, which includes Mr. Davis' personal address) is not removed by 08/01/2018. All images and screenshots are attached below.

<rebut "speaking directly to Iyron Davis> The address that is stated is from the INVOICE of which you did business.

Iyron Davis, a Legal Proceeding has already been filed and you are being served. If you'd like to carry this into small claims court consider the following:

I have ample proof of everything I have contested, including emails, invoices, text, screen prints, timelines and more that has been review by our Legal Team in Indianapolis Indiana. I am very prepared. The fact that you STILL are "paying" to keep a domain of which we have asked REPEATEDLY of over a year to be returned shows liability. You can not provide any proof of your responses to me or my partner attempting to correct this... further, the domain itself shows you have not corrected this, resulting in over 1 year of lost business and revenue with the tarnishing of our brand with the replacement of a Shoe Templete. Also, you're going to have to prove who Scott Verel is. Legally, he could be called to defend your position considering he was the one to respond to the rebuttal. My hope is that he can make into court to discuss this with you. Likewise, you will also have to clear up why so many others are finding fraudulent activity with you. (google Iyron Davis and a host of other complaints can be found). Lastly, I have several names as witness who have written reports on dealings with you of which you''ll also have to clear up. If you do not comply, you will not only have to present your case in small claims but also in a lawsuit proceeding for the damages caused by you. Life Lessons Magazine has acquired a legal team and they will be contacting you if you continue to not show interest in clearing this matter. My hope is that you do, for your own future, otherwise, I don't see this working out well for you.

Finally, It is really troubling to understand why Iyron would do this and behave in this manner. I thought this man was talented but after being treated in such a manner, after having read multiple reports concerning his frauduelent activity and after having VERBAL and written documentation about how he has treated other victims, it is my duty to go forward with this and hopefully add an end to this very damaging activity.
