J K Harris Made our back tax situation worse!!!!! North Charleston, South Carolina
We hired JK Harris in 2005 and paid them $5,000 to help reduce our back tax owed from a small bussiness that was having difficulties. They told us we were eligible for an offer and compromise. We filled out all the paperwork and it dragged out for 2 years at least! They DID NOTHING!!!! But shuffle paperwork!!! Our contact person changed every 6 months too.
Then one day we got a letter in the mail and JK Harris and they said OH! you have equity in your home and you make too much money for an offer and compromise. THEY knew this all along!!!!
Now our penalties and interest have increased to a horrible amount! We now have to make huge monthly payments for the next 6 years ..........as one could imagine we are devastated. If we had hired a reputable tax solution company in the first place we would not be in this very difficult financial situation.
We would at least like our money back. I hope if there are any other people out there in our situation .....please Don't hire JK Harris.....They need to be shut down!!!!!!!!
