J & S Diesel Deceptive un-professional poor work Las Vegas Nevada
This issue happen to me some time ago. But since I am an over the road driver and subject to out of town repairs I felt this issue should go public in order to warn other unsuspecting customers of this companies work ethics and service.
I brought in a 2006 Dodge ram Diesel with some engine issues, The diagnosis I was told would be $80 an hour and the tech. would be able to identify the problem within 1-2 hours for sure. Without going into extreme depth with this issue, my repair cost me $7500, took 3 visits, they broke other parts on the truck I had to repair myself, my truck was in there shop for 6 weeks, they demanded cash, afet the fact! All this for a $5 part. They replaced a full set of injecters that were not needed, dropped my fuel tank 4-5 times for no reason.
This shop had no idea how to repair this vehicle, stumbled upon the bad part, (how do I know this? the tech let it slip) broke my exhaust brake and didin't fix it, replaced a ecm computer, again not needed. I eventually got rid of the truck because it became cost prohibitive to maintain this truck with a repair I could not trust. I worked directly with the owner. I think his name was James, very arigent and interested in nothing but my cash money he damanded. I even offered a cashiers check and he refused. Business's like this should be closed and put out of business, I own my own business and understand issues that can arrise but this person is doing nothing but abusing the public for whatever he can get.
