Complaint Review: J.A. Tree Service - new gretna New Jersey

How is this a bogus/hoax report? We bought wood from you and it was not what was promised.  There was some seasoned wood mixed in there but the majority was not and is still not seasoned.  It's funny that the same line about it being rainy and wet was what you told my girlfriend when you dropped it off and to cover it with a tarp and it will be fine.  Unfortunately we need to keep the wood aired out since it was freshly cut when you dropped it off.  It is stored under an over hang.  The half cord of seasoned wood burned fine and was actually stored out in the open.  I will be contacting that company that delivered what was promised to get a written statement and will be forwarding that to the Attorney General as well as BBB, yourself, and the rip off report site that I also reported you to to prevent anyone else from getting ripped off.  I will also be getting written statements from the neighbors and friends who also saw the wood after it was delivered and saw that it was not "seasoned for over a year".  Attached is the picture my girlfriend took of you delivering the wood on the specified date.  Unfortunately she does not know the difference and I wasn't under the assumption I had to worry about a "reputable" company delivering crap wood when I left for work that day.  The 3 month gap in the complaint was actually giving JA Tree service the benefit of the doubt that it "was rainy" when you delivered it and the wood just needed to dry a little.  Well it's still drying.  And it still doesn't burn.  When it does finally catch it hisses and drips water and sap indicating the wood is new, not "a little damp".  The creosote build up is pretty nice as well.  I can't wait to clean that all out.  You don't have a reputable company if your ripping people off $200 at a time.  Just ask around, it's pretty well known now that I have done my due diligence and checked up on your company that your wood is not worth the hassle of trying to keep a fire going and cleaning out the creosote while risking a flue fire due to your dishonesty.  I called you twice.  Please don't tell me I didn't.  I left 2 messages.  I guess 3 months isn't enough time to get back to someone.

This report is a bogus/ Hoax report. We have and sell both seasoned and unseasoned wood, we explain to the customer exactly what we have and they make a decision on what they would like.The firewood does not get dumped until the customer confirms the firewood load meets there expectations and then we are payed in full.we have no reason to rip off any customer of firewood when we have so much we actually force it out so it don't rot in our yard. Report mentions that firewood 3 months later is sizzling water, sounds like the load of wood isnt being stores in a dry place or covered. Thats gonna be an issue considering we have had rain and or snow once to twice a week for the last 5 weeks. JA Tree Service has been selling wood for 13 yrs and is a very reputable company, this is the 1st complaint We have had regarding Firewood. If customer had called us back twice he would have either had someone pick up his call immediately, or had an immediate call back. As far as another competitor trash talking our company thats not good business, and we have a good realtionship with all of our competitors. We stand behind our work and our products 100%.
