February 25, 2017 - on facebook I saw the report come up about the Shark Tank and how these entrepreneurs received a standing ovation for their product and that every shark was going to back them. I thought well if that many public figures, on national TV were backing them, possibly there was some validity to their product.

So I clicked on the story which led me to an order for my free trial of lotion. And then a 2nd free trial for the eye cream. Was a bit frustrated when, after I had already entered all my mailing and credit information that, a charge came of 4.95 and then another 1.49 - for each trial item. But I thought well what the heck - shipping and handling. OK.

A few days later I received a small box with little items in it. I just put it aside because I was keeping it as a "fun entertaining activitiy" for my sister and I to try when we go on vacation in May.

Didn't think another thing about it until I looked online at my checking account (March 16) and saw 2 charges for 84.75 and 89.75. Looked back at my account and saw that it was from the same place as the free trials. I'm completely infuriated. I don't have that extra money! I live paycheck to paycheck and now can't pay my bills cause they took my money! It's only by the hair of my chinny chin chin I didn't bounce my house payment, but now I don't have money for my utilities.

I called one phone number for Jaanu and talked to a person who I'll call Klyde. He kept talking in circles - as I kept interrupting him explaining I did not authorize any more purchases. Then he kept saying that my free trials were the purchases. Needless to say I was getting very angry. I told him if he could not help me I needed to talk to his supervisor and if the supervisor could not give me my money back I would talk to the Attorney General. He put me on hold for a few minutes and came back and said I would get a complete refund for both charges. He gave me a confirmation number.

It's only been a few days, but after what I have read from all the other people who got ripped, I'm very worried that I won't receive the refund. In which case I don't know what I am going to do. I am going to call the bank first thing in the morning and ask their advise. I just want to cry. And I can't even ask my family to loan me the funds to pay my bills, because then I'll hear "I told you you shouldn't buy things online!!!!" I feel like such an idiot.

Thanks a lot Shark Tank and Jaanu -

P.S. I wonder if Shark Tank is accepting any responsibility for endorsing this type of scam
