I am a member of Crowder Law Group and the information in this posting is not true. I also believe that the poster of this information is a disgruntled former employee who has harassed employees of this company by filing frivolous complaints in several states.
First, despite the name (which will be changed to avoid any confusion), we are not a law firm. Moreover, while we do use sales people to solicit business, in my experience there is nothing wrong with that. What we do is provide an essential service to people who have attempted to negotiate a modification with their bank but are ignored or harassed by their bank. We then collect financial information, forward all such information to an attorney licensed to practice law in which the prospective client resides and the attorney of that state and the client enter into a fee agreement. CLG has no attorney relationship with the client, but rather, we work behind the scenes to assist the attorney with the case.
Most of our clients have already spent months attempting to negotiate with their lenders and are frustrated and upset. All prospective clients are fully informed of the process, the fees and are assigned a particular representative with whom they can call. Each client must have an initial intake interview, answer many questions and then asked to provide extensive financial documents (tax returns, pay stubs, etc.)
All prospective bankruptcy clients are then matched with attorneys within their state who are experienced bankruptcy attorneys. It is up to that attorney to determine whether the client should file for bankruptcy, we merely provide all information to allow the attorney to make such decisions.
Prospective loan modification clients are also subject to an extensive interview process and also must provide financial documentation before any work is done on their files. CLG provides no promises or guarantees with regard to a modification; indeed, many prospective clients are rejected because we did not believe that a modification was necessary in their case.
Most importantly, if a client complains and their complaint is merited we always issue a refund, often for the full amount. While no company has a perfect record I am proud of the work done on behalf of the over 1000 clients we have helped. The employees of CLG work hard on behalf of the clients and we often put in 20-25 hours on a file, often times on hold with the bank.
If the poster has specific information regarding a case, we will be happy to provide extensive case notes rebutting same. Otherwise they should stop posting lies.
