I have dealt with them for a number of years. My wife, and I recently purchased a new Chrysler from them, that had a similar vibration problem. When we contacted the Dealer, they not only had us bring the car in, but in less than four hours it was repaired. This, by the way, was not covered under warranty. However, Jake Sweeny Chrysler Plymouth DID NOT charge me for parts or labor because they felt that this problem should not have occured in such a short period of time. They contacted Daimler Chrysler regarding the problem and it is now a covered item. The fact that ANY business keeps a lawyer on retainer is no surprise at all. Nobody should be in business if they can't afford to do so. Incidently, my sister worked for Jake Sweeny for 15 years, and two of her husbands sisters still work there. There is a reason that they are a 5 Star Chrysler Dealership. My suggestion is that you contact Howard Ain the channel 12 troubleshooter.

Quote:"Mr. Sweeney keeps an attorney on retainer and they love for him to earn his money." For a car dealer to make this statement is totally believable. [1] The bottom-feeding car dealers (that's a redundant statement, I realize), I'm sure would prefer to be prepared to engage in litigation (or threat thereof) rather than practice ethical, honest dealings with their customers. Anything for "the bottom line". [2] I can also believe a car dealer could be such an imbecile as to make such an incriminating, self degrading statement.
