Jakob Advisors What a scam Winnipeg Manitoba
I applied for a loan online and had forgotten all about it, about 3 weeks later Elizabeth Parsons from Jakob Advisors called and asked if I was still interested and that I had been approved for a $10,000 loan and gave me all details as to how much monthly payments would be and that I was a high risk and needed to come up with $1,000 to receive the loan.
Received paperwork by email and faxed all the information back to her with the $1,000, called to find out what time money was to be put in account and was told that I needed to come up with another $750.00 because I had apparently applied for a loan elsewhere.
Told them I didn't have any creditors and had never applied for a loan elsewhere and that I believed this to be a scam, they told me that I was mistaken that this was a legitimate company and if I was unhappy they would send me my money back if I couldn't come up with $750.00. I told them I would get it and send it to them.
Called them today to find out if I sent it to them how long would it be before the money would be in my account. They are not answering the phones and needless to say I have not sent them the money either. I am still out $1,000 which I borrowed from someone who is now rubbing it in my face that I am a big sucker for believing this type of scam.
