Jay Swales ps3fixer, playstation 3, yellow light of death, YLOD, Click Sales Inc, Internet
Well, I suppose i had to be the guinea pig to try out the playstation 3 yellow light of death fixer aka PS3 YLOD GUIDE, to see if it was legit or not. The site makes a claim that it can easily fix your ps3 without having to waste 150 dollars sending it to Sony. I decided to pay for the product which is conveniently advertised in a slick designed box and comes with a CD. I was thinking that I would receive the product in mail, but I was instead given a web site that gives me the instructions on how to fix my ps3. The instructions basically tells me to break my ps3 apart by hand, and I also needed additional tools to remedy the situation--tools such as a heat gun, multiple screw drivers, Isopropyl alcohol, a blow dryer etc. Given the fact that I'm not a mechanic, the chances of me taking the ps3 apart could cause it to break completely. The bottom line is that I purchased the product so that I wouldn't HAVE TO do all of this technical work. I am currently demanding for my twenty seven dollars and some change back. This product simply isn't worth the trouble. If you're a mechanic and just so happen to have all the extra tools that will not come with the guide, then knock yourself out. As for me, I think I'll just buy another ps3 when I have the time and money.
