All RV manufacturers have a 90 day sealant warranty exclusion. This is a mainteneance item just like tire pressure and filling the propane tanks.
From that date the owner is required to check and maintain the roof sealant.
The owners manual requires this maintenance check be done every 90 days.
You didn't do your maintenance.
You didn't read your owners manual.
If you had caught this on your first 90 day maintenace the manufacturer would have fixed it.
Not the manufacturers fault.
Sorry but this is 100% on the owner and OP.

Why would Jayco feel responsible?
I agree, it shouldn't have happened, but the warranty spells out the terms and the time limit on the trailer coverage.
4 years out of warranty is a little bit of a stretch to expect the mfr to make you whole.
Sorry for the damage to your new trailer.
