By the time most dishonored checks are assigned to JBC for collection, it has been 9 to 12 months since the check was written (well beyond the amount of time it takes to "fix a problem with your bank"). If you have not been contacted in a year, I fail to see what you want to happen here. It is entirely possible our client decided to accept the $200 as settlement. I do not understand why you feel you've "been had".

As an avid reader to this web site, I have noticed several complaints on this JBC and Associates. What do you think JBC stands for? I figure since most complaints are stating the same thing that JBC stands for JUST BEEN CONNED. I would suggest that if anyone gets a call from these dweebs to give them this web site and tell them to " read it and weep, because you aren't going to get a dime from me." Let them know that you are recording the conversation(whether you are or not)and usually, they hang up and usually don't call back. Sorry you got conned
