JBC Legal Group ripoff Owed on a non existing utility bill 4 years old Bloomfield New Jersey
On May 11, 2004 I received a letter from JBC Legal Group, P.C. stating that I owed money on a past due utility bill from 2000. I have received harassing phone calls that if I did not pay this bill they were going to take legal action that would cost 2 to 3 times of the bill. I gave them my debit card number after 15 min. of harassing me.
This didn't feel right my daughter advised me to contact the utility company. So I did they had no record of this bill. They advised me to dispute this action. I quickly called JBC Legal Group and got no one to talk to and I told them to un no certain terms were they to bill my debit card.
I then called my debit card company and cancelled my account. My daughter got on line to look up JBC Legal Group, P.C. and found out what they are really all about. Thank Goodness for this web sight.
