I am very dissatisfied with this company for one I set over 5 hours ... secondly they said $29 dollars down ended up $200 down then hours later of filling out my paperwork to find out more hidden fees of another $600 down broke up over 2 months and then payments are way higher than I told them I could afford ... and then I did a virtual computer closing and was told my sales paper and my payment calendar would be emailed to me ..never received them I have called the finance company and the car lot several times still not receiving my paperwork ... was suppose to got my plates two weeks after purchase here it is a couple days of being a month later no plates ...

I had to go onto my credit report to find out my payments are $404 a month and specifically told them I did not want to go over $250-$300 a month ... DO NOT BELIEVE THEM WITH THEIR FALSE ADVERTISING as well as their hidden fees and they don’t put prices on their cars also got a Nissan Altima that blue books at maybe $5,000 for over $13,000 finding that information from my credit report ... I would love to bring this car back and set it on their lot ... RIDICULOUS... pay attention folks to everything and make sure you don’t fall into their trap ... I’m disgusted and now figuring out how to pay this high payment I told them I didn’t want to go above ... BAD BUSINESS

So you are saving all of this money to buy a depreciable asset outright.....you should go back to school and get a business degree....you are now saving up money to buy a 130,000 dollar car which will be worth half that in two years. You are saving for a car that costs 10000 less than the house you are living in. Why don’t you take that 130000 and buy real estate which will appreciate in value...you seem to think paying cash for an asset that loses its value is smart....it is in fact very stupid.

I am sorry to hear about the frustrating experience you are going through regarding JD Byrider. I have never had to purchase a used car myself (as I have good credit, and make good money) however, I have heard stories about JDB taking advantage of customers. The truth of the matter is, they aren't really taking advantage of anyone... you, and every other customer who complains DID NOT READ THE LOAN DOCS/TERMS, and ultimately signed and agreed to their terms, no matter how outrageous they may be. That's YOUR fault, no one elses. Had you done so, you would've known the payments could balloon, also, you would have an amortization scheduled (what you call a payment calendar). At an actual car dealership, you go to the DMV and get the car registered in your name. Because JD Byrider deals with the lowest of the low (as far as credit goes) they make sure they are in 1st position on the title, and also on the gestation so that they can repossess it AT ANY TIME, for ANY REASON.

The real deal here is, you wanted this ratchet Nissan Altima, and if you felt, so "ripped off" by the sales manager and sat in their office for "5 hours", why didn't you get up and walk out? You know the answer why! You wanted this car, and whether or not you agree with their terms (AS WERE LAID OUT IN A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT THAT YOU DIDNT READ), you signed the contract and now its time to the pay the piper. Avoiding paying them, and getting it repo'd will only hurt you. They could care less. I am an accountant and businesses like these, can write financial losses off on their taxes as deductions on the amount of tax they have to pay, so they get their money whether you pay, or not. Stop whining and complaining, and get a second job to pay it off faster, or turn the car back in, and keep making the payments.

THIS IS YOUR FAULT. YOU ARE NOT A VICTIM. The whole reason you are in this mess is because you have bad credit, don't make enough money to make a $400 a month car payment, and were trying to purchase something YOU CANNOT AFFORD. You should save a few thousand dollars and found you a nice reliable low milage, well maintained grandma car. Drive that for 3-5 years and save $250-$300 a month (pretend your paying a car payment but your actually saving money to either put a huge down payment on your next car, or pay cash for your next car). From 2003-2012 I drove an old Lexus ES300 (It was a 1998 model and I had saved for 3 summers in a row, working 2 jobs, to pay cash for it, so I would have a reliable car through college. The Lexus was 5 years old when i bought it, and it cost $12,000... and I PAID CASH for it). After graduating college in 2007 with my accounting degree, I got a good job as a commercial loan underwriter for a big bank. I started off just over 6 figures a year. I didn't run out like some piece of trash and try to impress the neighbors and other ratchet people with items I couldn't afford (I bought a small house for $145k and my monthly mortgage with taxes and insurance was $735, i kept driving my Lexus (so had no car payment, just insurance, gas, and yearly tags), if I used my credit cards, i would pay them off in FULL every month, i would save for big purchases like my sleep number bed, or my hot tub..

My Lexus was just 9 years old at that point and still in flawless condition, it had heated leather, and a sunroof, and bose sound system, chrome wheels, and dark tinted windows, I still was getting compliments on how nice it looked and how smooth it felt to ride in it. I kept driving it for another 5 years, and working HARD (50 hours a week at the bank, and I began graduate school to get my masters in accounting). During 2007-2012 i saved $900 a month (putting it into a "car savings", and thinking of it as my monthly payment. Now remember, I have worked really hard up to this point, putting myself through college and managing my money like a grown a*s man. NO ONE HELPED ME TO WITH MONEY FOR ANYTHING, NOT COLLEGE, NOT MY HOUSE, NOT CARS, NOTHING, so I have ZERO time for people who whine and complain about their situation. I AM SELF MADE.. YOU CAN BE TOO, In 2012 the Lexus had racked up about 145k miles on her, and while I had maintained her, and had taken care of her, it was time for me to get something new. So I gave the Lexus to my 15 year old cousin for making varsity string on his high school football team (as his first car). I had saved over $50,000 in that 5 years (07-12) so I went down to Lyle Pearson (the mercedes dealer here in Boise) and I "HAND" ordered my dream car ( A 2012 Mercedes Benz E550 4MATIC AMG ). The car was built in Germany with only the options I wanted, specialized paint, rims, you name it. The car purchase package also included a trip for me and one other person to Mercedes Benz German Assembly plant to see them finish HAND BUILDING the car (thats what AMG stands for), and to test drive it on their private track.

I was able to see the final touches being put on my car from behind glass, I also got to test drive MY car the next day on their company track (getting the 550 horsepower twin turbo V8 up to 168mph). Talk about a rush. The man with Mercedes Benz in Germany then gave me a schedule of when my car would be shipped and delivered to MY FRONT DOOR back in Boise, Idaho. It arrived within an hour of when they said it would. This was all part of the $74,000 price tag I paid for the car. I was able to put a total of $65,0000 down and I paid the rest of the car off when I got my christmas bonus at the end of 2012. I will drive my big black benz with all the toys, and the big rims, and the swaggerin, head turning, it does for the next 20 years. I also have NO CAR payment, so guess what Im doing? I am now saving $1,500 a month to buy a brand new Range Rover HSE in 2020 (estimated MSPR $130,000). I am sad to say, you will most likely be getting payday loans, struggling to pay the payments on this ghetto altima, I GUARANTEE you, that once it breaks down, and you have to come up with money for repairs on top of the car payment, they will repossess it. You will then end up riding the bus or walking, or driving some old busted low budget rusted bucket that people laugh at and is not reliable. The point of having a car payment is piece of mind. When you buy a brand new car, and you have a car payment, the car is under warranty. So if something breaks, the dealer fixes it at no additional cost.

Thus, it is WORTH having a payment because you know the car will always start, everything always works, and if you take care of it, it will last a long time.... AND it will never cost more than the monthly payment if something comes up. You are stuck in a trap now. JD Byrider buys, and resells RENTAL AND REPOSSESSED vehicles. These cars are driven so hard by renters and people who cant afford the upkeep of a car so its repossessed. You then buy a "lemon" because the car has literally had the s*it beat out of it before it even gets to you. I know that JDB offers in house repairs... and they charge you more than the actual Nissan dealer would, to fix the car... and at least the Nissan dealership would do it right. Chalk this up to a lesson.. a very expensive lesson. Maybe its not too late for you to turn your credit and your life around. Your credit is EVERYTHING... and getting an education gets you a good job that allows you to afford to use your credit. Maybe next time, you'll read the contract.... ALL OF IT. Ask questions if you don't understand what something means, and lastly, STOP TRYING TO IMPRESS PEOPLE WHEN YOU ARE BROKE AF! Do you think ANYONE envys you for driving an old nissan rental car? You are a fool if you think they is.... educate yourself lady.
