JD Byrider complete ripoff Bought a car it broke down 10 days later still had warranty they wouldn't fix the car! Richmond Indiana
My husband and I had just had a baby. We had only owned a small truck with just two bucket seats in the front, so obviously we had to buy a more family friendly vehicle.
We used JD Byrider because they didn't run a credit check. We purchased a 1998 Buick Skylark for $1500 down and a $400.00 dollar a month payment. We also purchased a warranty for the life of the loan on the car.
Ten days later something went wrong with the motor of the car and they REFUSED to fix it.
We fought them for about 6 months and finally gave up.
We sent the car back to them and they reported to the credit agencies. So now my husband and I have a repossesion on our credit for a car that was a complete lemon!
And to add insult to injury, they charged us a 21% interest rate on the piece of crap!

I forgot to say that they also reported to the credit agency that every payment we ever made was late. Yet, I have receipts for all the payments I made and we always paid on time, every time.
