I ordered the German style Cuckoo Clock on March 4, 2003. The ad said to allow 2-5 weeks for delivery. Seven months later I received the clockbroken and not to mention it is a piece of plastic junk I could rip apart with my hands or teeth.
JD MARVEL told me black out my name on package and mark return to sender" and the post office would assume the package had not been opened and would deliver it back. This is illegal because you cannot send a package without paying postage if you have opened it. JD Marvel refused to send me a return label stating they don't do it that way and I would have to pay for shipping to return the clock and that shipping would not be reimbursed.
I've already paid $4.95 for shipping, so if I pay it again to return the clock, I will have spent $9.90 in shipping to get the $12.95 reimbursement for the broken clock from JD MARVEL (the actual cost of the clock)....and all this for a clock that doesn't even work! And do you think they will even reimburse me for the cost of the clock?!
JD MARVEL owes me $17.90 plus a return shipping label. If I do not hear from them, I will take action to report the company any where I can and also file suits due to the principal of the matter.
