Jedon Russ posted an ad in Craiglist (one of many we found out) looking for an "understanding" landlord that would not do a credit check. She claimed to be a perfect tenant, so we gave her a chance. This was the worst mistake of our lives!!
We worked with her and did not even charge her a security deposit. We even agreed to let her pay us the rent broken up into 2 payments a month. She has paid us only 1 payment (half a month's rent) and now she is already almost 4 payments behind! Not only that, but she has collections against her so bad that she can't put utilities in her name.
JEDON RUSS was arguing with us because she was moving in the last week of the month and did not want to pay the prorated amount of rent!! Unbelievable! She wanted to live in the house for free, but we still have a mortgage to pay and this is not a charity house forgodsakes.
JEDON RUSS is a scam artist!!! We have never had a tenant like this before, she is a professional liar and she scams nice landlords for a living! Please do not rent to her. She will never pay you!!! You will regret this, please believe me!
She told us the money was in the mail for the rent, and when we asked why we haven't seen it, she said it must have gotten lost. Then we tell her to just deposit the money into our bank account instead of mailing it, and suddenly she "disappears" for days. We try and contact her and she says she was in the hospital and couldn't get to the bank. She keeps telling us she is going to give us money and then gives us more excuses or just doesn't respond to our emails. She is a liar.
JEDON RUSS is a nightmare tenant. She has been difficult from day one. She harasses you with constant emails and phone calls until she finally moves in, and then you are trapped. You don't hear from her anymore, she disappears because she knows she's in and she's not going to pay you ANYTHING.
The first week in there she broke the toilet. We spent almost as much money paying for the plumber as she has given us for rent!!
We are currently in the process of evicting her. She is sneaky and is very ready to throw the landlord under the bus. She does this as a career. She moves around with her son every few months, and goes from house to house scamming people with her b.s. stories and lies. We have not gotten a DIME since the day we turned over the keys to her.
PLEASE DO NOT RENT TO JEDON RUSS. She is currently located in the Maryland area, and we expect her to continue to stay in this location. Nice and good landlords beware!
Description of JEDON RUSS: African American female, early 40s, heavy set, drives an SUV. Claims to be the most Christian woman to ever walk the face of the earth, but she is the exact opposite. She also has a very sweet 9 year old son. I feel sorry for him.

Did a background search on JEDON YVETTE RUSS. Found out she uses several different aliases: Rosa Russ Michelle Russ Jedonell Russ JR Jenon Aedon Russ Also, she has lived in over 23 locations throughout Maryland, some right around the block from each other.
