Jennifer Convertible rip-off! VERY poor customer service, and poorly trained sales people. Poor delivery policies. New York New York
This is my first experience dealing with Jennifer Convertibles, and it will be my last.
The troubles I'm reporting are:
The fabric I initially ordered was "discontinued", and I had to pick a new fabric for the contrasting pillows on the sofabed I purchased.
They promised me delivery on December 19th, and I waited most of the day at home, only to find out after calling the store that they weren't delivering the couch... They "didn't deliver to my borough on that day"...
They were supposed to deliver on December 21st between 10 and 3, and didn't arrive until close to 5:00 PM. AND the contrasting throw pillows I ordered had not been done... they were done in the same fabric as the couch, despite me re-ordering them.
I was advised that I had to take that delivery date or wait until the second week in January because their warehouse closed for inventory over the holiday season. This is incredibly poor business practice!
The sales staff at the store were not helpful, not knowledgeable, and protested that "this very rarely happens!" They need to have all of their staff learn proper Customer Service skills!
I was supposed to hear today about the throw pillows in the correct fabric. So far I haven't. We shall see.
I would advise everyone to steer well clear of this vendor. The don't have their act together.
