My mother bought a small couch at Jennifer Convertibles. It was wrapped in heavy plastic such that it couldn't be seen. She trusted that it was the correct model and color and let the deliverymen into the house. They didn't open the wrapping for her, and they left. When she opened the plastic later, she found the couch to be the wrong model and color.
Jennifer Convertibles' response to their mistake was to charge her $30 for a restocking fee! So, if they make a mistake YOU are liable to deal with it. They take no responsibility. It's all your problem. Now, years later, this kind of thing still sticks in my craw. Terrible company. Don't go there!

If this was the "wrong color and wrong style couch," why did you accept delivery of it in the first place? Had you simply sent it back with the delivery driver, you would not be responsible for a restocking fee for what is now a used couch that has been in your house for an undetermined period of time. $30 happens to be a very reasonable restocking fee. Many stores charge much more -- and some don't allow returns at all.
