Our company is a frequent exhibitor at home show across the nation. In early May 2017, I was contacted by Florida Outdoor Shows and they wanted us to participate in their events (this is not uncommon, show managers contact us all the time for participation). I proceeded to go to their website where they had photos of their events and claims of thousands of attendees. Their show application and contract was available online like any other company. Their exhibitor prices were great and offered multiple summer shows with a discount for attending all of them. We signed up for their June show in Volusia County and July Show in Vero Beach. June 11 came along and I had not received an exhibitor packet for the upcoming show and received an email back from Wanda stating that the show manager was in an accident so the show would be rescheduled for August but the July show was to remain as scheduled. Wanda even stated that the July show would be sponsered by Corona.
Come July 10, with show time about 10 days out, I attempted to email Wanda for the ever elusive exhibitor packet only to find out the email address no longer exsists! I attempted to call the telephone number listed in Wanda's original email and it has been disconnected. I visited their website and it has been shut down. We attempted to contact our bank to get the money back but since we wrote a check for the services we will now have to file a lawsuit. In attempts of finding these people I looked up the company on Sunbiz.org to find out that that company, Florida Outdoor Show Inc, was closed on June 2, 2017 - 9 days prior to the email sent to me from Wanda stating the show was rescheduled. These two women do, however, own Jeremond Inc which according to Sunbiz.org remains open. There are other vendors experiencinng this also and the Volusia County Sheriff has an open case on this. SCAM SCAM SCAM!

We signed up for 4 events with Outdoor Mega Shows. THe lady we spoke with, Angel, was very nice. Said she would put us near the kids area and would only charge $100 per show as we were non profit. So we sent $400. We denied other festivals for this year as we were going to be busy with four two day shows. We booked hotels, requested time off work. The first show was supposed to be next week in vero. We tried calling but Angel wouldnt return our calls. We called teh fairgrounds and thelady said it is a scam. there was never any festival booked for that location. I then contacted the other locations. Same thing.
YEsterday we got a call from Angel. She apologized profusely and said that the lady who runs the shows had a stroke and a new owner has taken over. Ashley. She gaev us her number. We called her. She said how sorry she was and that she was going to make it right. She would only charge $75 per show!!! We decided to wait to see if we get our money back, but in the meantime, she sent us a new cointract with new locations.
We called this morning these locations and again, SCAM!!! They are trying to rescam the people they just scammed, and i bet its working because they sounded very believeable!!
