Jerry Collins - RV Ice Box NuCold Refrigeration - RVers BEWARE - Morrilton, , Arkansas
RV Ice Box also goes by NuCold Refrideration and possibly other psuedo-names and is owned by Jerry Collins. I ordered a replacement cooling coil for a Dometic NDR 1292 Refrigerator at a cost of $835. During this call, there were great promises of shipping within 3 days and support throughout the installation process, including direct access to Jerry's cell-phone. Since then, I found Jerry Collins is unable to live up to those promises and his business practices lack any sense of minimal "customer service". Additionally, and sadly, I found he has a long, long history of the following business practices (which can be verified here at Ripoff Reports):
- Charging credit cards at the point-of-sale instead of at the time of shipping
- Seldom answering the phone
- Seldom (if ever) responding to emails
- False shipping and tracking information
- False infomation on order status
- Exaggerated claims of support
Jerry's lack of response, cooperation and false information led me to do further investigation which led to the following fact findings:
- Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Arkansas has an "F" rating for Jerry's company(s), including the following report content
- 35 complaints filed against business
- Failure to respond to 24 complaints filed against business.
- 4 serious complaints filed against business
- The Arkansas Attorney General knew immediately who Jerry Collins was and indicated they have several complaints filed and an ongoing investigation into his business practices.
I strongly suggest any would-be customers avoid any purchases or dealing with RV Ice Box or Jerry Collins.
