Jerry Ward of He Saved Me Screen Printing in Dothan, AL, is running a scam on churches and ministries whereby he is offering very cheap pricing ($4.50 per shirt, including art and screen setup). He has apparently delivered orders in the past but currently has absconded with at least several thousand dollars of unfulfilled orders from many churches and ministries around the nation.

In my case, I contacted him on a recommendation from another ministry who had used him and had a good experience early in the year. But everyone who has placed an order with him since has had their money taken via PayPal and have heard nothing since. He has only provided an email address and a cell phone number, neither of which he responds to, thereby making a Better Business Bureau report impossible because no mailing address is available.

There are several listings for his name in Dothan, AL, but only one answers and it is an older woman who says that many churches have been calling and looking for him. I personally know two others who have placed orders and paid with no results or communication.

Beware of offers for T-Shirts that require upfront payment methods such as PayPal and who provide no mailing address. Jerry Ward has used this method to steal thousands of dollars from churches and ministries.

The refund process of PayPal described above is not true for purchases not made through eBay. The best they can do for you in this instance is make a claim on the money in the seller's account, which of course will be none because they are withdrawing after every transaction. PayPal is always a risk if you are not using it through eBay.

I am very sorry to hear about your experience with this company. I can tell you that PayPal is the best method of payment for the customer. If you dispute the transaction with paypal they instantly take the funds from the seller. He will then be forced to provide tracking numbers, proof of delivery, etc. If he does not, within 10 days you will be issued a refund. I hope that any of this information is helpful.
