JER.TEX COMPUTER ripoff THEY CHARGE TOO MUCH!! FOR LABOR! WAY TOO MUCH!! rip-off PLAINFIELD New Jersey
Hello, and thank you for this wonderful site that allows all of us victims to be heard!!! I will be brief,i have my own business a fast food place and believe it or not like the rest of the fast food business chains i also have a computer.
Today august 14 2002 i discovered on the top of the keyboard cover (the one that protects the keyboard to get wet or so.. a little hole which was done by one of the employee ..little water must caused malfunction to the keyboard!!!
NOW i am not a genius at the computer so i called the company which i mentioned JER. TEX COMPUTER SOLUTION ... ad ask for the owner , i told him about the problem and he said " it sounds like the keyboard is malfunction because of some water damages..i said would you have one and come over and see ...he said i have to see if i have one but i will call back ...he never did and i called back to make sure that if he was coming to bring a new plastic protection that goes on the top of the keyboard and he reply that he had a keyboard and that he was coming in the next half hour ,i said good but never bother to ask how much , because i said to my self the must $ 30.00 for the keyboard and how much can he charge me for the call or so $ 50.00 dollars??
He came and the only thing he did was ...turn the pc off put the new keyboard on and find out the nothing was wrong of course..GUESS HOW MUCH I GOT CHARGED???? $ 25.00 for the keyboard which i think it's fair and &150.00 FOR LABOR??
ARE WE KIDDING???? i called him back because i paid him ..see i am an honest businessman i don't argue but after he left i felt like a jerk.... so i called him back to see if he could give me a break on that i told him i think i was overcharged ...he tells me well that's my fee the travelling and etc etc i said i und. you have your own rates but why din't you tell me before about your astronomic rates??? he said well i apologize i will next time ..so this means he really screwd up and din't want to admit so i said ok ...i will never call you again...and this was it ..now i am asking you PLEASE!!! can you post this letter and the name of the company?? by the way i do have a bill to show you if you want see it..thank you for your prompt attention
