Complaint Review: Jet Motor Sports Jet Auto Sports - Philadelphia Pennsylvania

Isaac's real name is Demitry. The language spoken there is Russian & English. The sales office is on the second floor of a 2 story building. The first floor is a collision body shop. I heard nothing but Russian spoken by 6 men in the first floor shop. The cars for sale that I looked at were chop-shop quality repaired cars. Paint did not always match. Some weld marks and bent metal in the frame under the body of 2 cars for sale. The CarFax on each said no wreck. Company has operated under at least 4 names. Shouldn't this be enough of a red flag to alert Ebay to investigate?  Stay away.

I wouldn't buy a piece of gum from these thugs. Bait n switch is kind compared to these crooks. I would stay clear of this Israeli-based operation - not good, not good at all, cars are mostly cleaned-up wrecks, at least the one I bought was.

Then she proceded to check with the Better Buissnes Buro of Philadelphia if they had any info on Jet Auto Sports and she fund Jet Auto Sports was listed with BBB as a fraud operation. Needless to say i did not send any money to Jet Auto Sports and did not buy the Mercedes. Thanks again GEP

So I guess his shill bidder accounts are now commenting here too, what a scammer. Just goes to prove there is no honesty with this group, 9 of the 13 current auctions have been listed at least 3 or more time in the last 30 days. Do your homework people, these guys are abusing the eBay code and are ripping you off by bidding on their own auctions. Private autions for all, fools.

My husband and I were looking to purchase a lightly used BMW X3 for me, but after checking out the options at the BMW dealerships, we didn't want to spend the amount that the dealerships were charging for their inventory. We set out in search of a used car dealership in our area that has good selection and quality vehicles using local ads and EBay. We set a limit on how much we are willing to pay for the vehicle and started our research. We came across Jet Autosports and really liked their selection. We were a little skeptical about purchasing a vehicle on EBay and after finding this report, but we decided to give it a try, after all the company did offer a refund guarantee within a few days of the purchase. We've won the auction for BMW X3, and made arrangement to see the vehicle a few days after the purchase. We were pleasantly surprised when we came to the dealership. The people were very pleasant and very easy to deal with. The car was even better than we expected. It was exactly what we wanted. Their approach to the customers was impeccable. The car was cleaned to perfection prior to sale. It looked as good as a brand new car at any BMW dealership. I have been driving this car for a couple months now, and I am very satisfied with the purchased that we made. Needless to say, Isaac and his team have made a very positive lasting impression on us. The lease on my husband's car is expiring in three months, and we are not even doing the amount of research that we did when purchasing my car. We already know that we are going back to Jet Autosports, and will purchase our next vehicle from them. Isaac, thanks for a great experience.

My wife and I bought a 2006 Volve XC70 and got a very good price. The car is in beautiful condition and was exactly what we thought it would be. We won an auction and actually went to Philadelphia to see the car before we gave them any money. I must admit I wondered how they could auction these cars in these times and not risk selling too low. I figured they would almost have to "shill" bid if they had no reserve. In any case, we decided what our limit was and waited till the last minute to enter our bid. Perhaps we got very lucky, but the price was excellent and they were very nice to us. I'm sorry that others have not had such a good experience. I know you are much more likely to hear the bad feedback so I figured I should chime in. I do believe that Jet Motor Sport rectify the problems described. I'm really sorry to hear of them.

Shortly after winning an eBay bid for an Audi A6 from Jet Motor Sports and before going to pick up my car, I was really nervous to find this RipOff report. Needless to say, I thought for sure that I would find my car misrepresented and was fully prepared to 'walk away' at the first sign that things were not as they had been described. SO with my antennae on full display, I met Isaac at his garage to inspect what might soon be my new car. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it matched the description perfectly in every regard, even down to the exact miles. Isaac allowed me to check out all aspects of it and then took me for a test drive. Never did I feel any pressure to take the car. I determined that it was exactly as advertised, and after verifying his 3-day absolute return guarantee, I paid for the car and left for my 60 mile ride home. Here is where my story got interesting! Just before getting to my mechanic who would give the car a solid look-over, I noted that the car was intermittently misfiring which had caused the check-engine light to come on. My mechanic quickly noted that the engine had been steam cleaned and likely moisture had bypassed the rubber seal on the spark plug holes. When this occurs, engine heat will cause the moisture to boil up in the hole and can interrupt the spark causing the engine to misfire. After running the car for another 10 miles, the misfiring stopped (the water was likely driven off), and a computer hook-up to the engine diagnosed a misfire on cylinder 5. Exactly as predicted.. (Further searching on Google found that this seems to be a fairly regular occurence on auction cars which are usually fully cleaned in this manner and then shipped rather than driven.) I called Isaac the next day, explained the situation, and asked for an additional week extension on the return guarantee as I wanted to ensure that the engine was indeed running fine and the problem was not caused by something else. WITHOUT HESITATION, he agreed and told me to take what time I needed in order to feel comfortable with the situation. This desire to ensure that my needs were met and that I would remain a fully satisfied customer stands in stark contrast to the situation described above. When I read the 100's of satisfied eBay customers feedback for Jet, my experience only seems to be well reinforced. I hope this helps to bring a more authentic and balanced view of who Jet Motor Sports is and why they are such a well regarded eBay auto seller!

I just don't get it. You people buy these cars, sight unseen, on e-bay and you cry and whine when the car isn't what you thought it would be. Boo h*o. I am so, so sorry. You had no responsibility at all in this matter, right?

I love this post and am glad someone is calling them out. In addition to ripping you off, they rip everyone else off as they are continuously breaking eBay policy by SHILL bidding every one of their auctions. If you watch any of their auctions, they are advertised as NO RESERVE, sell every time but for some reason (duh) they keep being relisted. I have bid on a couple of their vehicles over the years as I really wanted to buy them, but each time I have lost because I have been outbid. Whe the vehicle gets relisted, I questioned why and each time got "dead beat bidder". I have been watching one particular car they have listed, now for the 5th time since I started looking for this new vehicle. I implore everyone to watch one vehicle and see how many times it shows up relisted, there are always dozens of bids on each of their vehicles which is totally abnormal in the eBay world. Please check their history, it will help build your case that they are complete scammers. I have recorded many repeat auctions and kept all their emails noting "dead beat bidder" on at least 3 occasions. I have reported to eBay 4 times, no respose from eBay for some reason (must be a good payoff).

They still owe me $1,200 and said they will only pay me if I remove this posting - the truth hurts when you see it in black and white! They have threatened me and my company, creatively, Isaac's little helper, Danny has threatened me twice with putting a post about my company on this website. They have never bought or done any business of any kind with my company. Jet Motorsports or Jet Autosports is not a company I would ever do business with! We as consumers have rights! If you sell a car that was in an accident and don;t disclose it, it is inducement FRAUD! That is what happened, 100% true, you knowingly sold me a damaged vehicle, did anything (lied) to keep me from coming to Phili to pick up my car in person, delivered it over ten days late and when I got it, it was filthy and damaged, I called Isaac and he said he knew about the damage but just didn't tell me about it - that's fraudulent and wrong. I also have some nice recorded messages and conversations from these "hoods", them swearing at me and telling em "YOU WILL NEVER SEE YOUR MONEY!"... The Folks over at Jet Motorsports got a nice fax with a print out of their name in a Google Search Result, The first two are the company's, the next is THE RIPOFF REPORT! Thats right #3 on google search in just a couple of days. The owner has been harrassing me with non-stop phone calls and threats. Again, I am out thousands of dollars for dealing with Jet Motorsports and or Jet Autosports of Philadelphia. BEWARE!!!!!
