To anyone who can help:

I am a current student with International School of Gemology. My instructor was the or one of the gemologists who first indicated that the Andesine Labradorite that Jewelry Television was selling was a fraud. I purchased my first Andesine-labradorite late 2005 and continued to purchase more Andesine-labradorite for over a year. I have thousands of dollars tied up in this stone. Now the gemstone is fairly useless as far as the reason for the purchase of the stone. I purchased the stone solely for the purpose of an investment. Multiple hosts indicated that this gemstone would be a wise investment. The company also indicated that they had proof of the stones legitimacy of being unheated and natural. Without a gemology education I was knowledgeable enough to know that natural unheated gemstones would eventually sell at a premium. I have not heard of the gemological laboratory that certified this gemstone as being natural and unheated. Why hasn't the Name of the gemological laboratory been revealed? Wouldn't Jewelry Television want the Name of this company to be revealed to clear them of any wrong doing? Is the gemological laboratory as guilty of fraud as Jewelry Television? The next question is was there a gem lab at all? In the JCK article that was posted in May of 2008, it was stated by Jerry Sisk that they did in fact send Andesine-labradorite to a gem testing lab. JTV needs to give up the name all ready... They are at fault as JTV. Is there any merit in a lawsuit because I am out what money that I put into this gemstone and any chance of ever getting rid of my bad apples. This is the biggest scandal that has ever hit the gemological world. How will anyone ever believe a gemologist again. They need to be reprimanded and the customers need to feel that this is not the norm for jewelry and gemstone sales practices!

THE GEMOLOGICAL AND JEWELRY INDUSTRY HAS BEEN GREATLY FRACTURED BY THIS INCIDENT!

What I at least want from JTV is to have the $1800.00 per ct. THIS IS WHAT THEY INDICATED AS THE VALUE AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE.. I think that is fair. I don't care if they have to sue the Gemological Laboratory for the recovery of the money they have lost...

JTV doesn't care that we have lost money and time. I could have had the money in a cd and at least made a 5% return.

Sincerely,

JTV EX-JUNKIE

Hey user, you should knock that big gemstone off your shoulder.  What a mean spirited person you are.  Not everyone got their money back.  AND I know JTV, they are rip offs and liars.  The only reason you obtained a refund was because it was the And./Lab.  Try returning other things after that 30 days,  you will get nothing.  They accuse people of breaking things just so you don't have to pay the s/h, they send out broken jewelry, watches, etc.  JTV IS NOTHING BUT A RIP-OFF.  AND YOU MY FRIEND, really need to learn how to spell, all the gems in the world will not help you!

You my friend are ignorant. Instead of buying gemstones you should be going back to school and getting and education - at least learn how to spell. Not everyone got a refund. Why do you think the lawsuit came about? There is a settlement now so everyone is happy! Before you speak on a subject in the future it may be in your best interest to research it before hand - lest you look like a fool!

yes i to bought many of the gem stones call andlab. and after it was reported that it wasent a true stone i called jtv and they refunded me my total cost. people gripe about it yet jtv will give you back your money including shipping cost. so whats the problem? iv bought from them for over two years and iv never had a problem about getting my money back. including and/lab i bought two years ago and returned to them around 3 months ago. yes it takes around 3 or 4 weeks to get your money but you will get it. so call them and tell them what you bought and that you want to return it for refund. they will send you a return lable and then in about a month or so youll get your money. its not an over night refund. so dont act a child and cry ohhh i want my money back today. jtv has the best return policy iv ever seen. and by the way. english critics i dont want to hear it. this is not a spelling contest or a classroom so grow up. if you dont like how i spell or wright. tuff crap get over it. theres always one of those morons who have to say hey you dident spell that word right or you dident put a comma after that and so on. hey spelling teacher how many gem stones do you have? most likely none. i have thousands. and i dont care if you are upset about my spelling or grammer. in a nut shell if you act like an adult and talk like an adult jtv will refund your total cost. but if you act like a child then most likely youll get the run around. i got all of my money back with no problems. none notta.
