Dear Jody,

On October 1st. 2004 I had an oil change and check all fluids serviced on our 1994 Ford Taurus at the Jiffy Lube on cactus and Thunderbird.

Unfortuately, your service was inadequate because after I left from these services I drove 8 miles when my oil light came on. so I proceeded to pull said car over when it died. We then had to have the car pulled to safety.

After speaking with Mike he suggested that I call his district Manager Rob. In doing so Rob had two of his employee's come out the following morning to inspect said vehicle. Both gentlemen were at a loss for words and said maybe my lifters were just stuck due to the thin oil.

Rob then suggested that I take the car over to Good Year Automotive on 35th and Union hills to have it diagnostically checked. After their Tech had finished his inspection he informed me to have car towed to Ford Dealership on Bell by R@M Towing that car appeared to never have been service and incorrect information was inputted on sticker and paperwork they also suggest that I get a lawyer.

After doing as Goodyear had suggested I then called Rob back where he was very disrespectful and adamant about damages not their fault. He then called Goodyear and explained that he was long time friend and customer.

When I returned to Goodyear for summary and invoice I was denied such information and told they did not want to get involved now.

I would like this car to be repaired and the sole responsibility of Jiffy Lube. I have traveled a great distance without any car problems and now My son and I are stranded In Phoenix Arizona without transportation or housing... I was to return to Texas October 2, 2004 and now face the possibility of loosing our home, Job and Medical... This has caused me great worry and stress as Iam a cancer patient and just ran out of my medications.

Iam outraged by this performance and the damages that occured. I have several mechanic's statments to reflect services were never rendered correctly.

Your assistance is requested within 5 days to resolve the problem,I will wait for your reply and a resolution to my problem before seeking help from a consumer protection agency or the better buisness bureau.
