Parago Global fulfills rebates from name brand companies. They do not do so in good faith.

About 25% of the submissions to Parago are rejected for improper reasons, like "missing receipt" or "no UPC code". When I submit a rebate, I A) Copy the receipt on the back pof teh rebate form, B, Write the word "Receipt" in large letters on the top, middle and bottom of the receipt, C, Fold the submission wiht the receipt on the outside, and D, Staple any attachments like the UPC code near my address on the submission form.

I have had an additional problem with Symantec and Iolo rebates. The terminology states one "rebate per household". These companies, at different times, publish multiple rebate forms and offers, with different terms, from different resellers, with different purchase dates, using the same offer number. They have denied multiple rebates based solely on the "Offer Number". The rebate form says one "rebate" or "offer" per individual family or household. It does not say one "offer number" per individual, family, or household.

This is nothing less than dishonest. If one tries to contact the manufactuer, he finds it is nearly impossible to get anyone who will be responsible about the issue (management). In other words, rebates are denied for a false and dishonest reason, and no one will use common sense or logic, or even attempt to resolve the problem. This is called "stonewalling".

I have processed a number of rebates this past year, and these practivces are rampant in the rebate industry. I also have to resubmit maybe 5-8% of the rebates because they are dumped in the trash by the rebate processor.

Three of four Sony rebates (not processed by Parago) were also initially denied for "no valid receipt".

Now, companies are scanning rebate submissions, and they can check the scan. If one doesn't ask to have the scan checked they are told to resubmit the "missing" paperwork, or resubmit the submission.
