I hired Jody Loren aka Patterson after talking with a friend about how horrible my custody case was going. She had never used her but knew that others liked her a few years back. So I talked to Jody who said that it sounded like my case had really just fallen through the cracks, and there were just a few things that we could do, and my son who has been abused could be safe. So I went on what she said and fired my fully paid for attorney, and hired her. I originally paid her $250 to just go through my case. This was in May 2013, and we needed to have a motion to the court asap to stop somethings that were going on. Needless to say that never happened, and about a month later she emailed me that she had prepaird the motions and that I owed her another $300 that I could pay on her paypal, so I did as I needed to get things filed. I again heard nothing for weeks, so I finally emailed, and text her until she agreed to a phone meeting. On the phone call she said the motions were done, and that there were just a few things she needed to change, and it would be ready to go Monday which this was a Saturday. Again nothing for a couple weeks, so I finally said you obviously don't have time for my case, and the other side along with the therapist are filing things that we should have answered a while ago. Still nothing, so I hired my old attorney back as I needed help fast, and then let her know that I wanted my file, and money back asap. She then text and said can we talk where I replied no I have hired my attorney back, and just want my file and money. She took and extra two days to finally get my file to me, and has refuse to pay me. I am ferious that she is still out there able, and happily willing to take peoples money with no reguards of doing any work, and that a Mesa Law firm still has her working for them. She needs to be stopped, as she could have really hurt my case, and cause more harm to my son who has already been through so much.
