I used to work for Joe Delfgauw, or Joseph Delfgauw. You may know him from (insert any scam here).

Email Marketing Careers, New Dollars Daily, ViSalus, GDI, Global Domains International, Help Renters, Our Last Move, and Pre Paid Legal are all companies Joe uses to scam hard working people out of money. He will promise you the world, and then make you fill out fictitious prepaid cards claiming they are required to be paid on. He steals your personal
information such as ss#, cc#'s and addresses/phone numbers and sells them to people on the Internet. I used to work for this loser and can tell you all of his slimy tricks first hand. He has a office in Livonia MI, and another one in Grand Rapids MI which are ran by his ex wife Mercedes who is just as scandalous. He dosnt pay any of his bills owed
for the business, and once he owes you too much money as an employee he leaves the state without explanation as to why you have not been paid.  If he was so successful why would he have terible credit, drive a car
held together with bungee cords, and wear the same outfit every day?

This guy is not a genius, or successful businessman, or successful in anything for that matter. Stay clear from him if at all possible. Do as all of his ex wives and children do and run in the opposite direction when he comes around pitching his get rich multi level marketing pyramid schemes. How can you make a living working with this guy when he dosnt
even bring in 30k a year.  Not to mention the earlier statements about the FBI investigations, and lawsuits are all true. He even has child support warrants out for his arrests. Do the world a favor and call the police if you ever see this man, and then check your pocket to be sure he hasn't stolen your wallet.

The employees who come on here after they didnt get there checks are no doubt the same employee's that help him scam or practically unethiclly harrass business's like me a small Gelato shop whom somehow ,somewhere I responded to one of his ads. Now I have unsubscribed about 50-100 times and I get like 10 diffrent companies all going back to extra ordanary marketing! So lets just say you were still getting paid ? Would you still be happily harrasing the pulblic guys like me who cannot stop the onslot of harrasment and in ten minutes you had to realize what you were doing was wrong . I have yet to hear of one of you decent people come out after your first hour of work trying to shut him dowm or offer up hi cell number...Something I sure would LOVE to have. I would absolutley hound and harrass him DAY and NIGHTtill he got me off his flipping EMAIL LIST!!! Oh and BTW for those who defended him in the above ( you probably are HIM) You suck for allowing this to happen ... Extra ordanary marketing has NO right to keep sending emails when someone wants to unsubscribe!! Thats ILLEGAL!!

That's all gossip really is -- slime, gelatinous masses of putrification, only serving to make everyone retch at the sight and smell of it. It's disgusting that anybody with a 'problem' can go on this site and slander a person with such accusations and no proof at all, causing a major cyberspace dent that'll never go away. You slanderous folk out there -- get over yourself, move on, and find something else at least productive to do other than try to ruin someone else's professional life.

Joe Delfgauw -- despite being a normal human being who makes mistakes just like anybody else -- is a true professional, with corporate morals, serving employees and contractors alike with complete and total compliance with the law, ensuring all workers are paid on time, and generously, and allowing freedom and flow of business workday and workweek without too much overhead and supervision. He trusts his employees to do their jobs. He's not a walking suit. He's just a guy. A successful guy. That's all he is -- and undoubtedly, people have jealousy or competitive issues, what have you, wishing to start crap for no reason, using this site as a weapon when it's meant to be used as an instrument of truth.

Shame on you. Shame on all of you.

I worked for this man as well and he is one of the biggest scam artist you will meet. Mercedes collects SSI and Joe pays her under the table so it will not affect her 3000.00 monthly income of the state. They hire felons to sell Legal Shield which they are not supposed to do but they simply do not care as long as they make a sale. The Hope Program is a joke they only want you to sign up for credit repair nobody has ever got a house before the entire script is a lie!!!!! They had the BBB come in and tried to sell him Legal Shield this company simply has no morals, intergrity or class. The manager dates the employees and the employees are drinking or high at the job. Stay away from this place!!!!!!!

#8UPDATE Employee ..inside information

Mon, November 11, 2013

I have worked with Joe for 4 years, i was around when the "incident " happen. I know the guys that wrote this and i know all the things they did. I know they copied Joes system and ran with it taking important information and trying to steal clients. I know no one in the world it perfect and by all means Joe isn't. I would not still be working for this man if he stole from me or cheated me or didn't pay me..........I don't get what all the fuss is, this is a man trying to make his way in the world and i have watched in my 4 years more people try to (F@@@) with him and his businesses then him trying to mess with others. I have seen alot of people make money with this man then not. Now if your not happy with someone and the way they do something then fine be gone, but why try to ruin them in the process.....Mary

Hello everyone.

My name is Ryan Johnson and I have been working with Joe now since December of 2012. I don’t know why so many people want to over react and put so many negative things about Joe on here. Let’s just clear some things up and get some good positive facts out there.

Since my year with Joe I HAVE always gotten paid on time, in the full amount, without any issues what’s so ever. I currently run his call center in Grand Rapids that has over 30 employees in which all of them get paid on time, in full amount, without any issues what’s so ever and that even includes monthly BONUSES on the profits the individual agent makes for the company. None of the employees have ever gotten there information stolen or sold. If you took the time to talk to Joe instead of making false accusations you would know why he has bad credit and why he wears the clothes he wears and drives the car he drives. If Joe doesn’t pay his bills then how does he have a call center with over 30 employees that has heat, lights, and internet working? Seems like they would be cut off if they were not being paid, right?

So let’s be real here. I have a family of my own to take care of. Do you think I would be working with Joe for this long if i wasn't getting paid or treated unfairly? Common sense right?

How about some positive things about Joe

  1. He re-invests the profits the company makes to benefit the company and employees with better bonuses, benefits, and needs of the business.
  2. He has given employees (including myself) advancements in pay when the individual needed the money.
  3. He likes to make sure all of his employees enjoy their job and will go above and beyond for their needs
  4. Joe is very open and honest and will talk to you if you had any concerns, even if it ment making changes to his business.
  5. He is very laid back and easy to talk to

I am hoping I was able to clear up some things about Joe and actually say some positive things about him. If anyone has any questions or would like to contact me please feel free to email me at [email protected]

I have been working for Joe Delfgauw for a number of months. From what I can tell, he has excellent ethics, has never been "wanted by the FBI," and is a fair and generous employer. I think anyone can see from the intensity of this complaint (even going after his 'ex-wife mercedes' (she and Joe were never married)) that this person is out on a vendetta. Someone who tried to take Joe's business and failed after stealing it decided to slander him on here. Its truly sad to me that ripoff report allows the complaints to be posted without any review or fact checking. This is slander and thats all this is. Joe is a good guy and anyone who works for him can tell you that.

I have been working for Joe for the past 6 months, and can say that he is an honest and generous employer. The previous statements are unfounded and untrue. He doesn't claim to get anyone rich and has never asked for my credit card or other personal information. This woman Mercedes MrBJones is referring to is not, and never was, married to Joe. This just sounds like a way for a disgruntled employee to get back at a former employer. There's no substance to his claims.

Amy Sol- apparently you are confused and lost. I have read soo many negative complaints about Visalus on different websites. As a smart consumer I always research products and companies before I purchase from them.

I was approached by a friend to come over to a Body By Vi party and learn more about the product and I had a feeling she was going to try and recruit me. So as I said in the previous paragraph, I always check out the product.

After reading numerous complaints about the customer service, return policy, and the products themselves, I have come to the conclusion that this is not for me and I feel that I have just saved myself from financial ruin.

Also Amy I truly believe that if you didn't recruit at least 3 people a month that you would have to start making your own BMW 535 payments. So good luck with that. Now you have apparently been brainwashed by this company and the MLM scam that it truly is and for that I feel pity for you as I can only tell you are a sucker for anything. At this point I believe the Visalus is paying you to come here and write all these rebuttals about how great a company they claim to be.

Good luck and I wish you the best but some times you just need to get a clue.

About Visalus Sciences (www.ChallengeByVi.com)  (I don't think that's the same "visalus" you mention in this complaint)

Why do you mention visalus in your complaint?  I see no correlation to Visalus, an amazing company with an A Rating with the BBB and these complaints.

I think this is a mistake, nothing in your complaint is relevant to the 90 Day Health Challenge.  I have heard and seen nothing but amazing reviews about that company.  Must be a different Visalus, or someone's name you are mentioning here.  Not sure.

I know that I have lost 30 lbs on the challenge and within 3 months of promoting it I was making $50,000 a year and had won a free BMW.

I used to work for Joe up until a few days ago, and everything you said in your report is accurate, although there were some things that I was not aware of, but does not surprise me....the same story of the pay is true for the employees in the Grand Rapids office.  We signed a paper that said we understood that we would get paid on the 7th and the 22nd of every month...well, the 22nd was yesterday and let's see, his excuse was he had a family emergency and had to handle it...and we were assured my someone named Mary that we would have our pay first thing this morning...well, his excuse today is that his account got frozen for child support...a bunch of crap.  The thing with Joe is he always has someone else apologize for him, can never face the music himself...He is a coward.

Also, he likes to sexually harass his female employees, but he says that it is not crossing the line because we are contractors and not technically his employees.  He tried to proposition me and another female employee in the office.  Joe Delfgauw needs to be shut down for good, so he can not hurt any other innocent people.
