Received an email solicitation from swapselltrade.com soliciting to sell refurbished digital cameras, special buy 5 get 2 free.

Refurbished picture in the advertisement showed some digital cameras that resembled name brand cameras in manufacturer boxs.

Basically the advertisement link which was not available after making the purchase, and offer stated you would get a variety of different cameras could range from megapixel and up. I decided to make the purchase with the hopes of getting at least 1 or 2 cameras in the 2.1 or 3.1 megapixel group. What I received was a camera that was'nt pictured on the sites link, I received a Vivitar vivicam3305B that retails online for a low price of $9.99 and a high price of $15.00. I was so angry that I was deceived in such a way I started to research the company and the person running it. I sent them a letter regarding the fact that there deal was supposed to be a wholesale product yet the markup charged is 200%. Which is absured. I have sent there website html to the Minnesota Attorney Generals Office, contacted the credit card fraud bureau and am sending the information to the United States IFCC Internet Fraud Complaint Center. I read their return policy, which states that there are no returns on electronics and digital cameras, though there is a law regarding how items are advertised, and if several items are advertised in a manner to deceive the purchaser there return policy wont be an issue and international trade laws will supersede the policys of swapselltrade.

Being a first time customer and receiving his email solicitation I was appauled by there methods and he did write back stating he has a good laywer which is OK. (he will need one if continuing his current business practices.

Ive read some of the other complaints and agree with them all that this company uses deceitful tactics to make sales.

Buyer Beware while making online purchases and check all the sources possible before doing business online with any website or person. If a deal sounds to good to be true it probably is and run the other way. In the event you make the mistake as I have to do business with the website of joe richey/swapselltrade I would encourage you to write your states attorney general, US IFCC,and Rip Off Report and credit card fraud protection.

Did you know SwapSellTrade has processed over 22,000 orders in 2005 alone with a few complaints? I can live with the percantages of happy customers being over 99.95 % Go look on EBAY show me any high volume seller with 22,000 plus transactions with out a few complaints. Just not possible. Thanks Joe

That is all you can say for yourself? "If you're not happy proceed to cancellation" Am I going to hear that the customer cancelled got an RMA# than returned the product but didn't get a refund? WOW it seems like you can not get satisfied customers. What are you doing? Unsatisfaction Guaranteed. If you really are a Lawyer am sure you can make more money practicing law than having to steal peanuts. What am I going to hear next? It's incredible but very believable.
