Complaint Review: Joel "Jay" Jarrett - Frisco Texas

As co-owner and wife of Mr. Jarrett, I was quite shocked to see such slander in print when searching my own name, Alisa Jarrett, on the internet. I suggest this post be removed from the internet or re-worded to state the facts vs. personal attack through words like thief and ignorant. We make an extremely conscious effort to treat our clients with the upmost service and resolve all issues promptly. Joel is far from a "thief" as stated and I, myself, was not physically involved in this resolution to deserve such a slanderous remark. Further legal action can be taken as this is defamation of character. I request the inappropriate wording be removed from the internet immediately to avoid legal fees which will amount to well above the $55 disputed.

Mr. Jarrett has honored his word and has refunded the agreed amount. The end result of any dispute is what is important and this end result is positive.

Please spare me the "did not know this was still a problem" routine. Numerous emails and letters were ignored, starting in 2004 and the last one in 2006.I have copies of all emails sent, you acknowledging the model sent to wrong address and that you are waiting to sell some items for money to pay me back. That same email indicates that if the post office returns it to you, you will photograph it and then send it to me, remember that ?? Apparently the only way to get your attention is to file a public complaint on this website, which could have been avoided by a simple refund. This complaint will be removed only when full payment is received. You ask that I send a copy of that postal receipt to you. Why ? It does not have my address or name on it and is virtually useless to your attorney. Stop using delay tactics and avoiding the issue. As I have mentioned in numerous emails and letters, do the right thing and pay back the money and be done with it once and for all. Maybe that attorney of yours can contact me directly and I can explain to him/her the problem of accepting money through the mail and not delivering the product. I understand that human error or post office errors occur. It is your responsibility to fix it. Ignoring my letters does not solve the problem. I will mail you another letter to your home with my address and email. My guess is that you will ignore that too, but I am willing to be proved wrong. Once the matter is resolved, this complaint will be updated on a positive note and eventually removed.

Just because we had a problem does not mean that I am a bad person and rip people off. The reason that no one will post here is because I have never cheated a soul, and to have you slandering my name is uncalled for.

First of all, calling my wife names is not a good way to start off anything. It just hurts your case. I informed you, and sent proof that the car was mailed, and that was the last I heard. If I sent it to the wrong person (which most people would notify me if I did since my contact info is in ever box) then I made a mistake, but this was NEVER brought to my attention. If that truly happened, you are entitled to a refund. Please mail a copy of the receipt I sent you (as we have closed that company and do not have those records any longer) and I will take it up with my attorney. You have my address as you have so graciously posted on this site, along with my phone number.

This thief and liar still operates on Ebay with the screen name Lone-Star-Designs and sells USED TELEPHONE EQUIPMENT. Buyers of this type of product should beware. Interesting that he no longer paints model cars. This thief's name has appeared on many message boards for model car builders but none of the posters want to file a report here. If he can rip off model car builders, he can do the same for buyers of phone equipment or any other electronics.
